Le Celtique

We enjoyed our short one night stay at Le Celtic. Having booked our stay several months before with a credit card guarantee, we had a bit of a panic when we found out via email on the day of our arrival our room was not guaranteed because our card had been cancelled (due to a security issue) and we had overlooked updating the card number. As we were travelling we didn't get the email until several hours after it was sent, and hurried to sent our updated info. Fortunately it was no problem, our reservation was intact when we arrived. The room was pretty small especially with our dog, her kennel and all our luggage, but it was quite clean and very adequate for a night. We had both dinner and breakfast in the hotel; it seemed strange that the hotel restaurant has not been separately reviewed on TA. Our meals (especially dinner) were tasty, reasonably priced and service was good; our dog was welcome with us on the terrace during our dinner with a bowl of water. We had a rental vehicle, so transport to the airport was easy; although be aware that the car rental return at CDG is not signposted unless you happened to be heading to Terminal 1 (we were not), and security and immigration were a mess, so allow plenty of time.
