We stayed here for a night in August. We were met by the delightful owner, who showed us around her lovely house. The two of us, and our dog, were made to feel so welcome, and we were soon exploring the extensive grounds through woodland, vines and along the river. It is in a perfect setting. Our room was at the top of the stairs, with a bathroom almost as big as the bedroom, with a lovely view. Our room was not furnished in any fancy way and it's not massive, but it perfectly reflected the way the house has been sympathetically restored. Breakfast was simple, with fresh orange juice, home-made jams and fruit. We were recommended to eat in a restaurant in nearby Clisson - Restaurant de la Vallee, which was very good.
