Overall one of the better places of our roundtrip. Excellent wifi. A challenging choice for the tourist: front side rooms have lovely sea views, but of course more road noise than the back side rooms. Many are at entrance level (2), some at levels 1 or 3; no elevator that we saw.
Large breakfast brought to the table; only continental. Times (8 to 9 AM) a bit restrictive. Large basic pool, friendly staff. Restaurant also nice for dinner.?

Cosy stopover place

Very nice management staff. Food is really good. The rooms are very clean and comfortable but quite oldish style. Very nice place to visit the area. There is a large pool and a nice little garden, ideal for adults. You have a nice ocean view and you are nearby the church St Rose. 

Cosy and professional

We spent one night at this hotel.  We noted from previous reviews that there was noise from the national road but we did not experience this at all.  We were welcomed by two very friendly gentlemen.  They helped us arrange a lava tunnel tour and gave us good advice as to what clothing to wear.

The rooms were very clean although a little outdated.  The bed was comfortable.  There is aircon in the rooms.  The bathroom, although old, was clean and the shower a decent size.  There was a lovely pool on the property and the hotel offered towels for use at the pool.

The dinner hostess very kindly tried to translate the dinner menu for us.  We did however find the food disappointing and tasteless as well as very expensive for what we got.  We found it quite amusing that we were offered a rhum shooter after dinner, which we thought was complementary as we had not asked for it, only to be charged Euro 7 for each shooter.  Breakfast was standard fare for Reunion and we had no complaints about that. 

Having said all that, I would recommend this hotel for a one night stayover (and request a sea facing room simply for the view).

Comfortable hotel

We stayed at this hotel for 1 night on our way to Piton de la Fournaise. The hotel is basic but the rooms are clean with a private balcony with view over the ocean. As is was our honeymoon we found a towel swan on our bed with a voucher for a complementary cocktail. The restaurant has a small choice. But the food was really nice and the service was great. Overall the service in the hotel Is great. Staff is very helpful and will try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. 

Perfect hotel for a short stay

Nice welcoming from the staff, friendly and smiling. There is a nice swimming pool. The restaurant is really good, modern presentation and really tasty. The menu is simple and little selection, but it was enough for what we needed, and the smile of the waitress and the explanation for each course made it better.

Great staff

Although the rooms face the national road, we didn't find it noisy at night. The rooms were clean and comfortable with their own little balcony with seating, which I think is always a bonus. Alcohol is only available to guests who dine at the restaurant, so i recommend taking your own if you want to enjoy a sundowner from the balcony. (but no fridge in the room, but ocean views.)
Breakfast was fine- buffet with a few choices and enough to start the day.
It was also nice to stay somewhere with a pool to cool off in.
By no means luxury, but we found choices in this part of the island were limited and this was comfortable and offered us what we needed. (Including wifi in our rooms to plan the next day)

Adequate stop over for the price

This no frills hotel offers great views of the coast, the swimming pool is just the right temperature and in the restaurant for dinner they were very accommodating with Table d'Hote for Euros 20.

Service is good, rooms have AC and are clean, breakfast is adequate.

Only serve alcohol during restaurant opening so take your own and sit on your balcony watchin the waves and the small fishing boats.
