We were met by a very friendly and helpfull staff member. Room was clean and warm, showers and toilets spotless. Highly recomend for a night stay. Located 5 mins from ferry. Nice food near by. Bus goes to town regulary so you can enjoy a beer and a meal in main centre. Taxi back late around 15 euro. 

Room was basic. But clean. Beds were fine. Toilets were also fine. Showers were not very clean so did not use unfortunately. Was in a nice area, less than 10 minutes away from a bus stop. Staff were friendly, and even with language barrier. They booked a taxi for me in the morning.

This is a budget hotel, so the score of excellent is obviously relevant to the price.  When we booked this we did not notice that there is no private bathroom, instead there are shared toilets and showers.  I nearly cancelled but as it was just for one night we decided it was not a bog deal, and it was not a big deal at all. The showers and toilets were very clean and there are enough of them close to the rooms.
The room itself was small as you might expect, but very clean and comfortable.  The free wi-fi worked perfectly and was more then fast enough.   There is plenty of parking, which is important because I expect you will only use this hotel if you are travelling by car.
Overall a great experience and I'd certainly book this hotel again. 
Why 4 stars and not 5, because they charge for towels and bottled water is way too expensive, we took our own towels and water but it's going to be a concern for many.

We stayed in the F1 Hotel recently. Staff very friendly, clean fresh tidy room. Quiet, relaxing atmosphere. The Hotel was completely booked out for the few days we stayed yet it was comfortable and quiet. Would recommend it to anyone on a budget break. Will return next time in Cherbourg. Thank you F1.

I was looking for a cheap stop off in cherbourg f1 was the cheapest I could get rooms are basic warm and clean shared showers and toilets no food but just outside is a restaurant Les Tourelles very good

All were well at first, the gerant was very kind and always smiling. We book for a room for 9 nights in August, and we decided to move to another hotel after 4 nights as we have a baby and the room was a bit small. When we told the gerant and asked for a refund, we were told off and I'm still waiting for my refund.

Terrible client service

Our car broke down and our only option was this hotel. It was cheap, but not nice. Reception staff when there was friendly but accommodation too basic. Would not stay unless really stuck. Bathroom /toilet in hallway ferry style cabins. Clean enough but not very pleasant.
