This is a family run hotel. The son speaks reasonable English but everyone else speaks French making it a very authentic experience.Due to car trouble we arrived late but we were still made very welcome (including our two West Highland Terriers!)We ate in the restaurant.The 20 and 22 euro menus were excellent and the portions were very generous.They were happy to provide vegetarian options. All of the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly.Breakfast was also lovely with apple juice from the local village.They phoned a local garage to have our car towed and when it was ready they took us to the garage to pick it up. While the car was being repaired we spent the morning by the swimming pool in the extensive park.Anyone who stays in a chain hotel in preference to this must be crazy!
