Rooms are clean and well decorated. Breakfast is served in the cosy living our outside with a nice view on pool and rural surroundings. The B&B is located away from busy cities, making it a very quiet retreat; all you can hear is the sound of the typical criquets. A stay does not come cheap but you are ensured of a proper vacation with a limited amount of other guestst and with cities to visit in an hour drive.

Luxury B&B suited for total relaxation

As soon as you arrive you will get a warm welcome from the hosts Bertine and Richard. The house is very high standard with top materials. Each room overlooking the swimming pool with airconditioning, shower, high end decoration and a television, although you will never watch it. Breakfast is delicious with different sorts of yoghurt, meat, cheese, fruit, delicious croissants, etc. In short it hurts to leave this pearl in the Provence.

Heaven on earth

When people use the words "divinity" and "south of france", they are probably talking about Maison Bertine.  This fantastic bed and breakfast is run by Bertine and Richard, who welcome you in the warmest way possible.  They make every day you spend time there unforgettable.  Starting your day with freshly squeezed juices, a perfect coffee and home made jams ( amongst many more things on the buffet ) is like all vacations should start.  It's the perfect base to go wandering around Aix-en-Provence, Avignon, Marseille... Rooms are exceptionally clean, beds are a dream and the swimming pool is fantastic.

We stayed at Maison Bertine for 1 week. Bertine & Richard are very friendly and they give you a warm welcome. They are always happy to give you advice about local restaurants and daytrips. They really make your holiday a marvelous experience.

The B&B is in real life even more perfect than it looks on the pictures. Everything was fantastic.

We loved the breakfast buffet with local fresh products (bread, cheese, fruit, eggs, cereals and much more). Bertine presented every morning different home made products on the breakfast buffet (jam, yoghurt,...).

We stayed in room Taupe which was located near the pool. The room was very clean and perfect for a couple. We had everything we needed (hair dryer, daily fresh towels, luxe shower, airco,...).

The view and the public areas (pool,...) are just like pictures from magazines. When you are sitting on the terrace or lying at the pool it is like being part of a postcard.

For us this week was like living the perfect French life. 

Fantastic luxe B&B / Charme hotel

As soon as we arrived at Maison Bertine, we felt totally at home in the secluded bubble provided by Bertine & Richard. There really is little choice but to switch off. As hosts, they are the perfect blend of available and invisible, which really made us feel like we had the place all to ourselves. The setting is absolutely stunning, the grounds are immaculately kept, and then there’s the breakfast - the perfect start to the day prepared with love by our hosts, where nothing was too much trouble. Indeed this was very much the theme of our stay… Whether it be suggestions for day trips, or offering to cook us a delicious risotto for dinner when it turned out the entire area had shut down for a public holiday, or providing everything our 1 year old daughter could need to be comfortable..
I would love to return to Maison Bertine, both for the opportunity to relax in the spectacular surroundings, as well as to spend time with such warm & welcoming people.
