La Chrissandière

We booked last minute due to the hotel's proximity to the Hospital in Annecy where I needed to visit a patient. I also needed to keep my kids fed and entertained outside of visiting hours. I would highly recommend La Chrissandiere which is clean and quiet, not far from main motorway and boasts a restaurant that punches above its weight at its sister site - Les Rochers. The kids tucked into French fare with gusto and not a peep was uttered about chips or nuggets. Continental breakfast was what you'd expect with good coffee, fresh baked goods, yoghurts and some fresh fruit. I think there was a pizza bar nearby and a supermarket but we were literally flying through on our visit so didn't use these. The lovely garden and swimming pool were a big bonus. You need to look past the slightly dated decor which has a retro appeal to those of us who travelled in France as kids!!
