Le Mas des Busclats

My husband and I stayed at this wonderful B&B in L'isle sur la sorgue for 4 nights. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming. In fact when we weren't certain how to find the place because our gps was not working, the owner Francis, stayed on the phone with me until we arrived . He was in the middle of a golf game and took the time to help us find his home. This is a beautiful property with gardens, a pool and lovely rooms. We stayed in the chambre bleue which had windows that open up to the courtyard and created a nice breeze at night. The rooms were large and the beds comfortable. The bathroom had a tub shower and a window as well. The breakfast is simple with tea or coffee, orange juice, a croissant, baguette if desired and jam. Francis would check in with us every morning and evening to see if he could assist us with plans or directions. He also made reservations for us at a local restaurant which turned out to be our favorite, called "Restaurant Carre Rond". It is right on the canal in town and was wonderful. The pool was a welcome addition at the end of a day of visiting the area. As far as the dogs go, they were not a problem at all. The doberman was old and hobbled over to see us only when we called to him. The other dog was friendly as well. L'isle sur la sorgue is a great town and the location of this B&B was perfect. We could go into town when we wanted, but relax at the B& B if we wanted too. One night we had stopped at a winery and that night we shared a bottle of fabulous wine out in the courtyard . It was lovely. In reading the other reviews, the only thing that I can think of is that the person who had so many issues with this place was the type that wouldn't be pleased by anything. I would encourage all travellers to stay at B&B Buscalts and say hello to Francis and his wonderful wife, Cathy for us.
