Aloha Eiffel Tower by Hiphophostels

tl;dr this was a great, clean, comfortable hostel in all respects in a fantastic location in Paris - perfect place to set up as home base for a roam in Paris. I found it slightly pricier for a budget hostel, but it was well worth the price. I would absolutely stay again and recommend to all travelling to Paris. I will discuss several categories that are important to me regarding my stay at this hostel. They are BEDS, BATHROOMS, STAFF, OTHER. BEDS - 9/10 The rooms and the beds were fantastic. I had a room of 4, which I found spacious, well lit (two windows with a view onto the streets and natural sunlight), and welcoming. The beds/pillows were suitably comfortable and clean linens and blankets were provided. The room had ample charging ports for each bed and then extra, a sink/mirror within the room as well as two chairs and a small table. Very pleased. The only problem with the room was that the top bunks didn't have a side railing, so if you toss in your sleep it's possible to fall off the bed (!). That wasn't an issue for me or anyone in my room, but just a thought... BATHROOMS - 10/10 Best bathroom situation I've experienced in a hostel. For every ~4 rooms, there was: 1 private toilet/sink, 1 public sink, 2 private showers (and of course you can go to any facility in the hostel if the one closest was occupied). Bathrooms were clean and modern and well lit. Showers were spacious. There was a shower curtain that separated the private stall into a "wet area" and a "dry area" and there was a stool as well as hooks for clothes. It was good for me to be able to wash comfortably and then also wash my clothes as well. The shower itself was like the showers at a swimming pool (in Canada), where you push the button and water runs for ~10 seconds and then you have to push again. No way to control temperature, but it was a comfortable temp for me. STAFF - 9/10 Wonderful, accommodating, and helpful staff at the front desk as well as cleaning/breakfast. I had no problem getting help when my room key didn't work when I returned to the hostel at 1AM. OTHER - 10/10 Location is phenomenal. Just minutes walk from the champ de mars and the Eiffel tower, as well as the Champs Elysees. Perfect base to go late night roaming from. If you're a cat lover like me, there's a cute cat cafe literally just down the street! And the hostel is also a days walk away from many other top Paris attractions. I believe the hostel is also along the path to an elementary school - when I woke up in the morning and looked out the window, the streets were bustling with parents walking small children to school. It was not disruptive to sleep but it was a very nice to feel like you're simply existing in the middle of Parisian life. To me, it's a perfect home base for a stay in Paris. Free wifi was excellent and reached the room I was staying in well. The hostel also has public computers you can use in the lobby. Breakfast is included and the breakfast I found to be quite excellent. The kitchen is also very quaint and a lovely place to get to know other travelers and enjoy the free breakfast. It added a very nice touch to the end of my stay at this hostel.
