The camp site is beautiful, just beside the lake. Not expensive, and the sanitary block was very clean as well. The only downside of this place is that the lake and beach stay open forum visitors at night, so in the weekend there is a lot of noise of youngsters having fun until they early hours. Furthermore, there is a big 'salle de fete' where marriages and other parties can take place, which must je wonderful for the people partying, but not as nice for us, campers. 
We had a lot of noise Thursday and friday (and we left Saturday because we knew that evening a wedding was taking place), but maybe during weekdays it might be better?

Beautiful campsite, but at night a lot of noise

If you picture a 1960’s chalet style then you are not far from how this cabin looked.  It was outdated, dirty and unhygienic.  From the photos I share the cracks in the shower cubicle and the thick grime on the shower head holder.  The 3rd picture shows the dirt and split shelf in the shower room.  The 4th and 5th photos show the bedroom including snot smeared on the wall by the single  bed.  The kitchen area had a build up of grime which would take a chisel to remove.  The dado rail in the final picture shows the thick grime which shows a long term lack of thorough cleaning.  The only redeeming feature was the location.  My idea of a romantic night in a cabin overlooking the lake, to watch the drone display very sadly fell short of my expectations and I found myself repeatedly apologising to my husband for booking such a horrid, filthy place to stay.
