320 reviewsWe can't recommend Hotel du Palais highly enough! First, it's in a lovely building on a delightful street in Montpellier's beautiful mostly-pedestrian old town. Second, the location can't be beat! We typically began our day with a coffee & croissant just around the corner in leafy Place de La Canourgue. Everything you could want to see in Montpellier is within a short walk – from Place de la Comedie to Promenade du Peyrou to the Jardin des Plantes. So much to see and so many options for drinks and dining within a very short stroll! And finally, the hotel itself has a great vibe, the staff are gracious and our room was spacious, well appointed and the best of our trip in southern France. AND when I contacted them later in our trip about an item I had left behind, they offered to mail it back to me in Canada at their own expense. I just received it a few days ago, so thank you very much Hotel du Palais! We're so happy that we chose this hotel for our 6-night stay in Montpellier. We could not have done better!
