Camping Le Marqueval

We visited from the 30th of Aug to 3rd September. Weather was warm but windy. We had such a lovely time, we will definitely be visiting again! We read up on reviews before we went so were well prepared with bed sheets and bbq food (we got a ferry over so took a cool box full of bbq food for our first night). The mobile homes were cute and well equipped. The scenery was beautiful. The only thing we would change, would be to take more food. We ventured out and found most restaurants were closed or only sold fish dishes. We aren’t a family keen on fish so found it difficult to eat. We weren’t sure if maybe it was a bank holiday weekend whilst we visited as it seemed all the shops and a lot of restaurants were shut in the local town & dieppe on the Sunday & Monday. However this didn’t bother us. We were happy enough to take food back to the site, cook and enjoy the scenery. We couldn’t get the kids out the pool, they absolutely loved it. We bought rubber rings and stuff but they weren’t allowed in the pool as the (3) pools aren’t massive! Perfect for us... but probably not 100s of floats. They also had a bouncy castle which again the kids had great fun on. Everything was clean and overall very good value for money. We especially loved that we could sit on out decking and just be together.... eat, drink and be merry. A lot of reviews said that the site wasn’t very English speaking, but we didn’t find this at all. We found no problems with not being able to speak French. Absolutely love this place and will be back!
