Le Mas de La Tannerie

My husband and I stayed at Le Mas de la Tannerie for four nights during our honeymoon. The property was absolutely stunning, and exactly what I had pictured when we initially started planning our stay in Gordes. The hotel is close to the centre of Gordes, Le Village Bories and Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque, however we recommend driving as it would be quite the walk. Breakfast each morning on the patio was delicious, fresh and filling - croissants, yogurt, an egg, cheese, fruit, coffee and juice! We also enjoyed a dinner at the hotel on our last night, cooked by Hanne. This was fantastic and a welcome break from restaurants! The honesty bar is also very convenient, however it would be nice if guests could use the fridge for their own beverages and snacks as well. There was not any shampoo/conditioner provided, so we were happy to have packed some of our own. The pool was beautiful, and we enjoyed relaxing with a glass of rosé in the afternoon after a long day of sight seeing. Gilles and Hanne were great at recommending nearby sights, markets and restaurants. Wifi was limited to the shared spaces near the main house, so we usually accessed the internet during breakfast to plan our day. Merci to Hanne and Gilles for a wonderful stay in Provence!
