Hidden in the steep hills, the butterflies attend to the flowers and your hosts attend to you - drinks by the pool on arrival - then dinner at 7.30 - delicious. The rooms were spacious and tasteful, the views astonishing - the stars clearer than anywhere I have been in France. Breakfast perfect and then a short walk to meet the horses. Great English spoken (a surprise in such a hidden spot) and did I mention THE pool - the view was spectacular - this place is a must... a great base to explore the Ardeche - and a wild swimming destination second to none...
