Villa Chanelle

We stayed two nights at "les chambres de Chanelle" and had dinner at "A la table de Chanelle" one evening. We sat in the garden and given the weather that evening, this was a great experience. The meat was amazing and the wines from the region very good. Philippe, the owner, has a very wide selection and we followed his recommendation. We also had one of the most incredible charcuterie I ever had. This included very good jamon de bellota, saucisson and terrine, but most particularly an absolutely outstanding magret de canard prepared by Danny, Philippe's wife. The rooms are very pleasant and we liked a lot their decoration. The pictures on the website reflect the reality. The view on the Loire river from the room in the morning is glorious.
