Camping Côté Ô Mont Saint Michel

Great location for Mont Saint-Michel.  Very good value for money.   Pitches for motorhome a good size with lots of grass and trees.  Pool was lovely with lots of loungers.  Facilities were clean although a bit disjointed - with separate toilets, wash basins and showers in different areas.  Staff professional and friendly.  The receptionist spoke perfect English.   Little onsite shop has all the essentials. 

Lovely clean family run site , close to village and beach , we stayed on the premium pitch in our tent and everything was perfect . Lovely fresh bread and croissants available every day . Felt very safe as security there every night 

Just back from a week long stay in this lovely camp (1st week in July 2022) 
Pitched with our Camper & awning (me & 18 year old son - not a good place for older teens, middle of nowhere, camp nightlife is aimed at French younger kids/teens.) 

Immaculately clean camp, very modern. Clearly spent a lot on it.
Perfect for younger families (fab big play area for young kids; full size bouncy castle and inflatable climbing castle with slide, as well as well equipped playground.

Large indoor games room (did not go in, but has a snooker/pool table etc)

Lovely basketball/football court (my 18 yr old enjoyed this)

Swimming pools are lovely. Better than they look on the website.
- A nice covered pool with spa jets (large windows slide back to let fresh air in)
- Has a hamman sauna and a small gym (locked when I saw it, peered in, saw a treadmill & bike, not sure what else was in there)
- outdoor pool lovely and cool. Deeper and had jacuzzi and rock waterfall

Service in restaurant really slow (husband, wife, chef & waiter. Food nice but need more staff.

Beach des Andaines 20 min walk (we drove) €4 parking for day. 5 min walk across dunes to lovely sandy beach. No sea though!! Very dissappointed. Tide about a km out and at closest 500m and ground black claggy clay! Could not swim. But beach was glorious (we were only people on it!) Mad windy so take good windbreaks!
Can horseride on beach, fine for newbies,  but if u are good check if u can do more than walk. 

Nearest shops are a fifteen min drive away. Best shops are in Avranches, 20 mins away (fab patisserie next to The Station/La Gare!!)

Mont St Michel is 43 mins drive away (totally worth it! Gorgeous! Tough on the knees though! Not for anyone with mobility issues!)

Top tip!
THE best kept secret place for sunsets is the Plage Dragey-Ronthon! Can park right by it! Has a cool little bar there. 
Just sat on the beach with a few others like hippies watching the glorious sunset (at about 10:50pm!)

Lovely campsite for a chilled break.

Stayed in a 6 sleeper cabin. Place was spotless with lovely good quality clean pillows and blankets. (Be sure to bring own pillowcases and sheets. ). Shower ran boiling or baltic 😅
Was delighted that at 11pm on the dot all neighbours turned off outdoor lighting and went quite and disco stopped... ..meaning my 4 and 5 year old could sleep well. 
Unfortunately the last night there was a huge party at other side of site......I'm so grateful we were not right next to it. !!
Loved the pool......being a seasoned outdoor swimmer I found the temperature perfect. Indoor one was warmer for those more sensitive souls 😁  The kids loved the slides. No lifeguard just so you know. 
Restaurant was run by lovely young lady. Very friendly and helpful.  Food was nice........not a huge selection but we enjoyed eating there for dinner twice. 
Reception..one nice English speaking young lady, one not so friendly. She refused to break 20 euro so the kids could use games room. She did break 10 euro. Maybe change machine would work ??
The kids loved the playground too. Many a tantrum was had trying to get them out of it........good sign 😅
My 17 year old was happy to chill by the pool. Not much else for her to do. 
We will definitely visit again. 


Nice site, great pitches. Amazing swimming pool. Don’t visit the restaurant/bar as the staff/service was very rude. We actually cancelled a booking there on the last night to go somewhere else because of the service we received previously.

Great campsite at Cote o San  Michele. Near bus stop. Reception staff lovely. Restaurant/bar staff, best avoided! There were not enough toilets and the shower facilities were basic.But we had a great pitch and there were good facilities for water etc.

Camping in Normandy

Totally dreadful; electrical hook up has reversed polarity and no earth (enough to get the place shut down under EU law.

Stupidly-loud Ibizia- type disco with shouty  geezer thinking his audience is thousands rather, than the twenty under twelve ADHD brats who’s parents have sent them out to “play” in the dark.

Gent’s urinals out of service, leaving only three sit-down bogs for all the touring site. Ridiculous!

Avoid at all costs, how ACSI signed this place off is a mystery.

Our second year visiting Pool and slides are great, shower facilities need facelift, management & staff rude, activities and evening entertainment lacking. Some areas of the park have been upgraded but rest of the areas still need work 

Camp site holiday

Very noisy site great for kids but not adults, lights for some facility areas didn’t work the night I stayed.
We were three adults traveling and were given the pitch next to the swimming pool which was very noisy with music and children screaming.

This is the worst camping experience we ever had! This never ever is a 4* camping. They just make money by offering many but very poor services. Wifi is not stable and unbelievably slow - really unusable! Their answer is that it is because of weather and busy evening... but this is just a cheap excuse - it was even not properly working on very early Sunday morning in the middle of the camping! There is just one washing machine for the whole camp ground, the "heated" pool is cold and common areas are built very cheap with plastic chairs and so on... We actually planned to stay one week but left after one night not to waste our precious time of vacation. Of course, do not expect to get any refund - stay away!
