Very easy to find in the centre of a small village, with plenty of free car parking.  The village is on the south western edge of the Ardennes and is very, very popular with hunters.  The staff are lovely and speak reasonable English.  The rooms are very large, well appointed, clean, very comfortable and very quiet.  The food in the restaurant is excellent and very reasonably priced.

Great place to explore the Ardennes

We stayed at this Hotel for 4 nights. What a lovely area and the rooms are very nice. You must eat at the restaurant as it is EXCELLENT! The owners Veronique and Thierry do a wonderful job of making guests feel welcome. Thierry is an excellent chef! Very relaxing hotel and area to stay.

Great experience!

Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a very nice shower.

Very helpful owners and as I booked online with Hotels.com they were expecting me and was in the room within 10 minutes of arrival.

The Jacuzzi and sauna were an amazing bonus and good WiFi connection if needed.

Unfortunately I had a very early start the next day and so did not have breakfast or dinner but restaurant looked very nice, they do close in the evening early so if you arriving late best to let them know if you want to eat.

Cannot recommend this place enough if you are in the area.

I would have liked to have had tea and coffee in the room but just a personal thing.

This place is a little oasis.

Apremont is a tiny village that you could miss if you blinked as you drove through it which would be a shame as you would also miss this charming Auberge. We had a room in what looked a fairly new block. The room was spotless and had a good shower and silent air conditioning. The block had a jacuzzi and sauna which you certainly wouldn’t expect in an establishment of this size.

We were on “La soiree tape” tariff (dinner bed and breakfast) which is necessary given the lack of alternative restaurants in the village. Although the evening menu was not large there was more than enough choice and the standard was high. We both had wild boar that was tender and tasty. As others have commented breakfast is a feast, orange juice, fruit salad, ham, cheese, eggs, crepes, bread and pain au chocolate. All served in generous portions with more readily available if requested.

Everything, including wine at dinner and a night cap, was less than €120 for the two of us. A great find that I hope to visit again.

A hidden gem

Stayed here for 1 night after a visit to the Verdun memorial and on our return journey to the UK. Our room was immaculately clean and bed comfortable. The shower was rather compact but given the cost of the room was 53€, we had no complaints. We ate dinner here and had 2 courses for 12€ - food was simple but delicious and well cooked and desserts were very good too. Breakfast was equally good and fairly priced. Staff were all friendly and helpful. The village is quiet and peaceful. If we ever travel to this area again, this auberge would definitely be our choice for an overnight stay.

A must if you're in the area!

We stayed two nights. The breakfast is top notch and the evening meals are hearty local food. The owners are very friendly. The room was spotless and comfortable.
We would stay here again. While staying here you must visit the museum at Romagne sous Montfaucon, you won't be disappointed. And the American cemetery at the same place.
