Hôtel Le Lyon Vert Commentry

We booked this hotel as we were attending an event in Montluçon where all the hotels were fully booked. This small family run Hotel was very reasonably priced and the proprietors were extremely welcoming and friendly. Our room had recently been refurbished and it was excellent - very modern and roomy with a small balcony. The whole hotel was homely and spotlessly clean. The proprietors couldn’t do enough to help and ensue we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was copious and typically French with fresh croissants from the local baker every morning. A big plus point for us was that this hotel was dog-friendly. Although there was not a restaurant at the hotel, there was a lovely pizza restaurant/bistro within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in the region.
