Gite de l'Elevage de la Mûre

The French country location is so peaceful! The guest cottage is separate from the rest of the B&B, so we had relaxing privacy in the middle of a beautiful horse farm. The 3 bedrooms had different bed comforts, but it suited our family’s preferences perfectly. The upstairs king size bed was the most comfortable we had all during our vacation throughout France. Each of the 2 upstairs bedrooms has it's own sink & shower with 1 shared toilet between. The downstairs bedroom has a private bathroom with sink, shower & toilet. Kitchen was stocked with coffee, spices and dish soap. The farm layout has beautiful territorial views. The swimming pool is lovely. Our wonderful hostess, Beatrice, gave us a tour of the barn (a plus for horse lovers). Flies from farm were a minor nuisance as there are no screens on windows. This is a working horse farm and if you are not accustomed to barn smells and flies nearby, this would be an issue. We have horses at home, so it was heaven for us. The GPS first brought us in through a weird back country farm road, so checking an actual map to find the direct route is helpful.
