Résidences Valdys Thalasso & Spa de Rockroum

I’d read up on where to park and drove straight to the Rockroum apartments and parked up (thanks to Google Maps). Then walked to the end of the road and booked in at hotel Thelasso reception; easy! We had our swim stuff with us so went straight to the spa. Yes we had to pay but it was worth it. Remember to take flip-flops/ sliders, swim cap and swim costume (Nb men aren’t allowed to wear shorts). We were provided with towel, robe and cup for water. We took our own bottle of water into the spa area as there weren’t many water fountains down there. We loved both pools and even managed to swim some lengths in the sports pool. The jets in the other pool are fun. The water is lovely; warm & clean salt-mineral water. There’s also a jacuzzi outside (closes at 6pm) so remember to wear your flip-flops and take a towel. You need a towel in the sauna but not in either of the steam rooms. Fab showers and changing. Loved it all! It closes at 6.45 and you need to be leaving by 7pm. We then walked the 2 minutes back to the apartment which is a pleasant walk as the area is beautiful. Apartment has everything you need. It has recently been modernised. Worth noting as some reviews had said that they were shabby but this wasn’t the case with ours #908. I’d requested a twin room and we got it. Big sliding doors opened out onto the garden. Nice kitchen/ dining/ lounge area and all facilities you need. Good walk-in shower. Separate toilet. We walked 10 minutes into town and had a fantastic meal out. A very enjoyable evening! We had to catch the 9am ferry so dropped the key back to reception on the way (you drive out past the hotel) A fantastic last night in France. I’d definitely go back to stay there. Roscoff often gets overlooked but it’s a really quaint town that is nice for a few days break. All the locals are used to English people and I’ve always found them to be very obliging. They will speak in either language or a bit of both as you like! I feel it’s a safe town to walk around. Enjoy your stay!
