I reached the hotel from the station by bus, numbers 2 & 10 stop on La Grande Rive. A pleasant period built establishment with plenty of charm in all aspects of decor situated right on the waterfront. My garden view room was small but beautifully furnished with everything you could wish for, including kettle and coffee machine. The shower room was modern, and all working to perfection. The domestic staff did a sterling job with their daily maintenance. Only a small issue could be the traffic or noisy guests in the garden but only if the French doors left open. A huge range of fare is on offer with the breakfast offering. The staff at reception were efficient, polite, and professional.
