Le Vieux Moulin

Spent best part of 2 weeks here and had a great time.  The site did look tired in places but it was the end of the season. Toilets and showers were clean and plenty of hot water.  Swimming pools were great and our kids had a great time there.  Electric hook up worked well all times but it did look a bit ramshackle but was 'hidden ' in between pitches so had no concerns about children getting zapped. Beach was a10 minute walk away and there were plenty off other beaches within easy reach. There were also 2 supermarkets a 10 minute drive away.  We had a great holiday there and wouldn't hesitate to go back.  

We spent a week on this site at the start of August.  On day one the electrics in our touring caravan failed.  The staff were more than helpful in sorting this out for us.  The owner offered to store our daughter's gluten free bread in his personal fridge for us.  He then organised an electrician to fix the electrics in our caravan.
We found the staff to be both friendly and helpful.  The site is small ad there may be aspects that need updating or refurbishing but it is clean and well run.  
There can be confusion as to the water hook-up for touring caravans.  Ours was disconnected by neighbouring campers.  Not all pitches have waste water outlet.
Our girls enjoyed the pools.  The outside pool isn't heated but the indoor one is.  The TV room isn't really used and the Wifi is ok if you stay close to the main office.  The on site bar and restaurant are good.  There is also a well stocked shop which opens in the mornings and evenings.  We found this to be a friendly and welcoming site.  The beach is about a mile away.  Erquy is nearby with a good Super U for all your shopping and laundry needs.

Great site and lovely holiday

Good site

This place is kind of half fixed-up, half falling down. It is venerable old building that must be a great place to hang out in the middle of summer. A lot of attention has been paid to the bar and outdoor seating area, which is surrounded by big, beautiful trees. 

We walked in late afternoon and asked about a room. We were taken to the end of the hall on the second floor and showed a small room over the breakfast hall. It was nothing special, but clean and a lot of natural light. The room was on the small side, whereas the bathroom was on the large side. We looked out on the outdoor sitting area and the parking area beyond.
We got some wine and a simple meat & cheese board before they closed. A couple parties of locals were hanging out when we first came in.
Breakfast was simply bread, butter and jam with coffee or tea, served to the table.

8 night stay last week of August. Lovely 3new looking 3 bed mobile very clean well equipped but no oven even though I did query this by email and was told there would be an oven. Mobile lacked any privacy. Very tight space to park next to mobile. Could hear other people sneeze in nearby mobiles. Pool was good, restaurant good as was takeaway. Bar could do with a spruce up. In general the campsite looked a bit worn out. Area great for beaches, walking, cycling and water activities. Plenty to do and see

Stayed here for a night while biking round Brittany with my son. Pool area good and refreshing after a days cycling and pitches quite private. Shower block could be cleaner with more showers and toilets. Should put loo paper in as well. Shop reasonably well stocked and at fair price. Quite a walk into Erquy but worth it as a lovely little place. Had a nice meal in restaurant/bar and at a good price.
