We arrived after six and as advised our key was on the board outside. We didn't require dinner but our host happily served us wine and sparkling water. He spoke no English and we little French but we found him entertaining and helpful. We feel that previous reviewers may have found his type of humour off putting, we found it entertaining. The rooms were comfortable and clean, no problems with the shower. Breakfast was croissants, bread and some lovely Corsican preserves with coffee more than adequate. We were sorry not to have had dinner as previous reviewers say it was worth having. Our friends enjoyed there stay so much they are going back next year.
