We are a family of four who found comfortable accommodations here for two nights in Corte. It was such a delight to stay here in the heart of town and a 5-minute walk from the Tavignano Valley trailhead. The proprietor welcomed us warmly and offered great advice about how to reach the trail and what to expect. We had a four-person room that had a very small kitchen with fridge and stovetop—did not use these during our brief stay. There was an incredible array of restaurants within a five-minute walk of U Passa Tempu in this relaxed, youthful college town in the mountains of Haute-Corse. Bonus points for cute (slightly feral) kittens wandering in the parking lot and donkeys in the field up the hill by the Citadelle.
