A first-rate B&B on the Pays Basque coast. Ciboure is a pleasant little town opposite (and less busy than) St-Jean-de-Luz, and this villa is in one of its lovelier streets. It has a tranquil, shady garden - most welcome during the heatwave of our stay - the room and bathroom we had were comfortable and very tastefully decorated, and the breakfast was terrific. Isabel and Eric, whose home this is, make a point of sourcing food, furnishings and just about everything else from the local area; they are also very friendly, helpful hosts and charming company. The nearest beach - and some very pleasant restaurants - are about 20 minutes walk away. Hope to be back sometime!
