Another really lovely Huttopia site situated right next to a beautiful lake. We thought the site was great,  particularly the pool and bar area which was very spacious. The live music and weekly market was a bonus. 

There's lots of Loisier lakes in the area with excellent facilities although our lake was unfortunately turbid this year so unswimmable. Also, there is limited direct access to the lake, specific times during which you can paddle board but avoiding the fishing areas. Vic Fesenac was a lovely local town with some fantastic restaurants. 

Have stayed at this site for the last 4 years both as campers in a motor home and renting a mobile home. As a camper all pitches are large and close to facilities. As a mobile home renter the homes are clean, comfortable and well-sited. We prefer out of season but of course swimming pool, bar & snack bar are closed then. No problem as plenty of bars and reasonable priced eateries short driving distance aeay. Most visitors are French and Dutch but the Brits are missing out on a great site in an area well worth exploring. Good for walking, cycling and just a short walk to the local towns of Barbotan and Cazaubon.

We have been coming here for our Easter holidays for the last 4 years, as this is an excellent base for carp fishing, which my husband enjoys doing, and the weather is mild this time of year.

We love this campsite for its easy access to both towns, as the lake is situated between Cazaubon and Barbotan les Thermes, both an easy 5-minute bike ride from the site and perfect for shopping, but there is a bus stop in the outside parking area near the Proxy supermarket.  Both towns hold street markets on Wednesdays and Fridays and car-boot sales on Sundays.  There is a Proxi supermarket at the entrance of the camping, but this only opens from 1st June till 30 September, as well as a Pizza takeaway.

The campsite itself is beautifully maintained and has well over 300 pitches of generous size with hard standing and grassy areas, electricity hook-ups, easy access to the lake and various shower/toilet blocks, basic but adequate and clean.  Chalets/mobile homes are also available for hire.  There is also a good laundry room with washing machines and tumble driers.  

The swimming pool is only open in high season, but it has a lovely recreation area with tables, benches and stools and a snack-bar.

We simply love it here and will keep coming back.

This is a  very attractive site, well maintained and laid out.....BUT the toilet blocks although clean  are very, very dated. There are no wet rooms, just tiny deep porcelain shower trays in very cramped space, so you kept elbowing the walls, very old fashioned showers, no hair driers. Insufficient mens was,  a couple in addition to urinals.
There was no washing machine, or driers   no freezer available for ice cubes and freezer blocks.
on the plus side, it was very quiet (maybe because it was early in the season, early June. The fishing was superb, plenty of carp, catfish and black bass. The swimming pool area was lovely and new, beautifully maintained and landscaped. 
We felt the pitches were a bit small, but nicely shaded, although rather expensive considering how dated the facilities were

Great Site - Brits are conspicuous by their absence

Shame about the toilet blocks

Very dissappointed  with this camping compared to the other huttopia campings. Firstly placements very small and on top of each other...you have to order food to have a drink and then wait nearly 3 hours or a pizza....fridges not stocked up with fresh drinks..the staff are not trained properly to welcome staff...Will not be go8ng back 😬😬😬
