Wedding dream!!! We stayed here for our wedding on 21st september this year. The house it self is stunning. The grounds are equally beautiful and it is the most peaceful setting. Our wedding was a dream and the owner Tanya was such a good host. I could fault a single thing if you are thinking of hiring this stunning property it comes highly recommended by everyone of my family members and friends who stayed.

We stayed at Domaine de la Fauconnie for two nights for a peaceful, short break before continuing our drive up to Roscoff to take the ferry back to England. What a magical, peaceful and rejouvenating experience...and the attention to detail in our room was so high...and a cosy bed and amazing shower! Tanya and Jean-Francois are welcoming, cheerful, friendly and knowledgable hosts. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They booked a table for us at a lovely local restaurant just 2 mins drive away. Breakfast was super, delicious in every respect. The photos of the house and locale look amazing...because it is. We will be back and we thank you for an idylic late October break.

We stayed here as a group of 6 families (house plus cottage) and had a wonderful week. The accommodation is spacious, clean and comfortable. The buildings, pool and grounds are beautiful and the area is very quiet. Both adults and kids alike were very happy. 

Tanja did a fabulous job of making us feel welcome, arranging horse riding at the stables, organising a canoeing trip for us complete with lunch reservation and more. 

Would highly recommend - it's a special place to stay! 



Wow wow and wow! Even though the photos of this venue are beautiful they still can't do it justice. 
I booked a trip for 21 women to travel to the Dordogne for a luxury hen weekend and we chose the Domaine de la Fauconnie as it looked stunning, was in a great location near to the airport and was great value for money. 
It completely exceeded our expectations and we were blown away with it all - if you are looking at booking this venue for a group then you won't be disappointed. 
The house is located up a long drive, approx 3 mins from the little village Campsegret - where there is a little boulangerie where you can order to collect freshly baked croissants and bread every morning. 
It is a 20minute taxi ride from the airport and approx 10min drive to the big supermarket called Intermarche on the N21. 
Tanja (the owner) was so helpful throughout the booking process and didn't stop when we arrived - helping us book taxis, sort out directions to venues we had booked and so on. 
The venue itself is stunning and the grounds are amazing. We went mid-April 2017 and the temperature was around 20-25degrees Celsius, so a great temperature and we were able to sit outside and enjoy the sunset with a glass of local wine. It has a great swimming pool, but it was a little too cool for us (given the time of year) - but we used the hot tub every day! 
All of the bedrooms have been finished to a very high standard, the beds were very comfortable and each room was stunning. The downstairs was great too, with a huge dining table that could accommodate all 21 of us! We did a murder mystery on the first night so the dining room was perfect for this. They also have a great BBQ area down besides the pool with seating for everyone. 

Tanja is currently in the process of building an Orangery at the back of the house for weddings - which will be stunning when it is complete. She ensured that no works were going on during our stay so we didn't see any workmen / hear any noise. 
I would love to return someday and repeat the fun we had - Domaine de la Fauconnie was an absolute dream venue! 

Tips:
- There are literally no taxis in this area. On your first day here I would recommend you book all of the taxis you need with the taxi company who brings you from the airport. 
- Take a speaker with you (for your iphone) as there are none at the chateau that I know about. I didn't take one and that is my one big regret as it would've been great to have some music playing! 
- We booked a wine tasting and lunch at Chateau Feely which is a 30min drive away - they were incredible and can arrange a coach to pick you up / drop you off.

We were lucky enough to join our good friend Pat for her 50th birthday celebration week here at Domaine de La Fauconnie. Tanya and Jean Francois the heart and soul of the cheateau made every morning seem like we were home. We were greeted cheerfully with hot coffee and a breakfast spread that I'm still dreaming of. Plus the added bonus of having all our "which direction is the best way to.....?", answered before we venture out for the day. 
Our group took over the entire house so we toured all the rooms. It was clear that so much care and attention to our comfort was taken by Tanya & Jean Francois. Each room had a character of its own. We would love to come back just to share this amazing destination with family and friends.

I stayed at here as part of a hen weekend with 12 others in June and it exceeded all expectations - huge property, outdoor pool with kitchen and dining area, hot tub, all the amenities we needed for our weekend. Short drive to Dordogne for markets, eating out etc. Owner Tanya was on hand on arrival and checked in a couple of times over the weekend (one day with fresh strawberries for us!). Could not recommend this property more for a big group of friends or family.
