Effusive welcome from Stephane and Jessica, once we had managed to make contact after the stipulated 5 pm arrival time. They were very kind and helpful. Delighted with the room, which was well-decorated and with an excellent bathroom, as well as a lovely terrace/balcony. The bed was very comfortable and we had an excellent night's sleep. The rooms are above the Restaurant but, since everyone was eating outside, we were not disturbed. The new owners have only been at the Moulin du Porteil for three months and have been fortunate enough to retain the Chef. We had a superb meal (26€ and 32€ Menus) as well as A La Carte but the Service was a little slow. We haven't eaten such a wonderful meal for a long time. However ... the Breakfast was desperate - no Croissant or even fresh bread. We do hope the new owners will make more effort with that because we didn't leave with a good impression.
