Cabanes flottantes du lac de Pelisse

My husband, 2 sons and I stayed here for one night in August and despite the weather, had a fantastic time. After a very warm welcome, we had to row across the lake to our cabin, much to the enjoyment of the boys. The cabin was very basic, but perfect for a night on the water. It is floating on the lake, although tethered to the bottom, so you don't rock about or float away, but you do spin round very slowly! What you see in the photos is what you get - a small table and benches, a very comfy double bed and two very cute bunk beds. There is a small hand basin in one corner, windows all around and two, large french windows at the front. Around the back, there is a dry toilet, for emergencies. The deck is very large and hosts a sofa, table and chairs and also a couple of deck chairs... For better weather. What you don't see is the amazing, brand new, private shower rooms up on dry land, in one of the farm buildings - almost too good to be true! Highlights: unique, fun experience, picnic breakfast brought to you by boat and the kayaks at your disposal. Negatives: you are on a lake and will need insect repellent... Summary: a hidden gem! Book now before too many people find out about it!
