Residence Du Village

Wife and I stayed several nights in May. Roomy and very clean studio. Queen size comfortable bed that wasn't just 2 single beds put together. We slept very well. Kitchen equipment was well stocked and very useful. Bathroom was also roomy and clean, but strangely the shower had a big window right next to it (frosted but no shade or curtain to block the view completely). Also the shower didn't have a curtain or door, so we were puzzled as to how to keep the water from splashing outside the tub. Wifi was spotty (kept asking for login over and over again). Free parking in back (secured by an automated gate and keycard access). Very quiet in our room which was facing the back of the building. Convenient location for highway access, mini-mart and bakery in the same block, a huge Carrefour just down the street, 10 minute drive from Annecy center and lake area. We had a rental car and didn't have any trouble seeing the city sights, the lake towns, and beyond (Chamonix). The staff, Jean-Luc, was a nice guy and very helpful even with limited English communication. He worked hard to please (orientation, neighborhood info, laundry, etc). He was the highlight, but the place overall was very good.
