We are not ones for going back but this place ticked so many positives last year we decided to return, it did not disapoint either.

Our lodge, was exactly the same as last year, which is perfect for my needs.
The swimming pool is a lovely enviroments to relax, swim, sunbath.
Access is great and the location to the cycle routes, sight seeing and tourism is just about perfect, I'd like to think we will return again, who knows?

Site was perfect for our stay. Enjoyed cycling to a number local chateaus and the restaurant meal was both different and good. The staff and owners could not have been more helpful and friendly. swimming pool was very warm and welcome after a days touring.

We had a very enjoyable stay - lots of cycle routes to several chateaux.
Information re the routes was given by the campsite which was really useful.
We enjoyed the pool and our pitch was spacious and quiet in the evening.

This was our first time ever staying in a mobile home on a campsite, it was modern, clean, comfy, well stocked, lovely veranda with table/chairs 
Bed was comfy, pillows not so much - You do have to take your own bedding but pillow / blanklet supplied. 
The campsite was mostly quiet, the owners /staff very friendly, helpful and spoke good english.
The indoor pool was just perfect and we spent a lot of time either in it or sat by it.
It's location again perfect, with all the chateau's around, good access roads and Brehemont easy walking distance. 
This is an absolute gem and gets 5 stars from us.

Hiring VAE Hydrogene near this perfect located place, we really enjoy our trip. For visiting this beautiful area, relexing and enjoying the Touraine, it is perfect ! To reach it, very easy and you can visit this wonderful village.

We stayed a week to explore the Loire and chateaus in the area. The site is excellently located for this and we were able to find our way around easily and saw some lovely old bits of France which were a lovely surprise. We didn’t plan our visits too much as was easy to do on the fly. 

The campsite itself is quiet which is what we wanted. The pitches are large and well spaced so you have privacy if you want it. Kids can roam around freely and play together. We had a mobile home so didn’t use showers but I spotted them whilst looking for the laundry room and they looked new and plentiful. 

The best features of the site was the pool (heated!) and had a little shallow area for younger kids. The reception/bar was run by a local family, even their kids get involved and they have a wine tasting and small market on site during the week. I even did yoga with the kids outdoors one morning! You can order fresh pastries and bread from reception but we preferred to do the short walk up to the boulangerie instead (10 mins each way). 

If you want quiet, clean, friendly campsite this is for you.

We stayed for nearly a fortnight on this site to visit the many attractions we had listed to see in the area.  It was well placed for all of them. We have a large American Winnebago so my review may be different to others as my requirements are different.  On arrival we were shown to our pitch which was fully serviced as we had booked (tick - not so on some other sites even though that was what we had booked and paid for!) The pitch was next to a road along the back of the site but we never heard any noise from it.  It was a good position for us as we were tucked away in an area where there wasn't much passing traffic so was quite peaceful.  The pitch was big enough to accommodate our RV, our Smart car and trailer and our awning....we could still put our chairs sun lounger and table out so plenty big enough.  A lot appear to use this site as a stop over whilst cycling the Loire as it was noticeable it filled up towards the end of the day.  They have organised events such as wine tasting, a live band and a small market in the evenings which I think is credit to them.  We bought some wine one week and then went back for more the second week! There is a bar and small snacks available.  I noticed that a lot of the cyclists used to have breakfast before they left so it must have been OK!   I cant comment on the sanitary facilities as we didn't use them - I know a lot of people are interested in this -  our next door neighbours said they were very clean!!  There is a swimming pool which is a reasonable size and on occasions I was the only one in - great!  The site is a mixture of pitches and cabins.  The reception staff are exceptionally helpful and friendly.    The site is very well placed for visiting the Chateaux and gardens of the Loire.  We had a list prepared and really enjoyed visiting them - although when we totted up what we had spent it was quite expensive so thank goodness we enjoyed them all!

It was quiet at night with everyone respecting the other campers.

All in all we had a great stay -good value for money.  The only thing I could say would make it better would be to plant some more bushes/trees as even with what has been planted I still think it might feel a little open.  For a 3* site I think they have done a pretty good job.  Oh - and free internet all day!!  We have stayed at mostly 4/5* star sites and had to pay every time!!

We loved our stay here. The site is quite small which we liked. It made it much more peaceful and we noticed how so many children were playing together making friends. We have twin 1 year old boys and the facilities for babies are brilliant. A baby bath made life easier.

We stayed at this campsite for one week. Our aim was to visit Caves and buy wine. We rented one of the mobile homes (for 6 people).

The mobile home was very sufficient, clean and well decorated. Since we brought our 4 month old baby, we were especially pleasantly surprised about the sun-screens in the windows, that enabled us to make the bedrooms completely dark and keep them cooled during the day. That way our little girl could well sleep in the bedroom.

The only remark that could be worth making, is that the surroundings are fairly quiet. If you visit this campsite to visit caves or to relax (with kids), you’re at the right address. If you want to be able to find entertainment within walking distance, this may not be the campsite for you,

We stayed in a 2 bedroom mobile home. It was older accommodation and well worn in places but basically clean. The owners were friendly but not intrusive and other staff on site were very pleasant. Restaurant and swimming pool available on site. Generally a very relaxed atmosphere. Ideal for cycling along La Loire a Velo literally 2 minutes from the site.
