We were in a brilliant 2 bedroom property, a lovely outside area with a great view of the city of Marcelles. We had a wonderful breakfast left for us to wake up to each morning.

Our hosts were very kind and accommodating.  The room itself was clean and beautiful with a great shower.  Breakfast was excellent and parking was very convenient in a secure area.  They went above and beyond to assist us and we appreciate it very much.

Hosts were amazing and accommodation was beautiful. Very friendly and accommodating. Good to note the narrow roads if you are driving in marseille and there was no WiFi.

We had an amazing weekend in Marseille, much thanks to our hosts and the great Le Clos du Jas.It was all we could ask for, in a beautiful setting, wonderful view and comfortable rooms.We recommend this to anyone that want to enjoy Marseille and be able to get away from the city after a day downtown. I can only praise the "Le Clos du Jas". It was amazing. Everything was perfect. The room was beautiful, clean and air conditioned. There was also a kitchen and a dining room. Outside there was a terrace with a really great view and a beautiful garden. We were warmly welcomed and we were even offered a hot dinner after our long journey. For breakfast there were three homemade jams, baguette, orange juice, coffee, tea, cheese, cereal, yogurt and every day another surprise such as pancakes. It was delicious! The owners were very friendly and gave us restaurant recommendation (the pizza was very good!). We will definitely recommend the hostel and come back for sure!

A little piece of heaven on the edge of Marseille! A warm welcome from the kind and friendly owners Nicole and Guy into their beautiful home. They recommended local places for sightseeing and are very knowledgeable. My French is not good, but Nicole understands my English well. The rooms are perfect, with all facilities you need, the gardens are relaxing with the aroma of flowers in blossom, and the home cooked breakfast has to be the best in Marseille - trust me! Make sure your rental car is small as the local roads are narrow and not for the faint hearted. But do not let this stop you from booking, as you will have great memories from this charming place. Perfect for a quiet retreat away from the hussle and bussle of the City but within easy reach. Views were beautiful from the terrace area and the rooms spacious and clean.The owners had gone to a great deal of effort to make this property unique and homely. breakfast laid out for us on the terrace was excellent. Just back from a 2 night stay in Le Clos du jas. I had to submit a review recommending this beautiful B & B. Set back in the hills overlooking the City it is tastefully furnished and spacious. It has only two rooms and a shared lounge/diner, terrace and kitchen. All spotlessly clean. Our hosts Nicole Guy and Eoli the lovely family dog met us and showed us around. They take great pride in the Villa and gardens. The view of the distant city of Marseille and Notre Dame from the dining area and terrace were stunning. Breakfast was delightful, laid out for us by Guy on the terrace, he could not have been more helpful.
All in all a great, comfortable stay. We would definitely bring friends back next time to use both rooms and have the whole accommodation to ourselves.

Excellent stay in Le Clos du Jas!

Little piece of heaven in Marseille 

A perfect stay

Very friendly people. They welcome you with open arms.  They have the best breakfast ever with a new twist every day.  Even their diner meals are so delicious we didn't even bother to go to a restaurant in marseille.  We are certainly staying there again if we go back to marseille. Just the best b&b i have ever been.

We stayed at Le Clos du Jas in June,  it was our first time in Marseille. Nicole and Guy were perfect hosts, and made us feel very at home, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were amazing! Lovely home-made jams and everything fresh! The place is located in a quiet neighbourhood and has a beautiful garden and terrace overlooking Marseille with sea views in the distance. Our room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. Eoli, the family dog is a great addition, very friendly and cute but unintrusive. I would have no hesitation in recommending this beautiful haven of tranquility to anyone.

Unforgettable Holiday!

We stayed at Les Clos Jas in May 2017 for three nights.  We arrived by taxi and were welcomed by Nicola, the owner, and shown around.  The B&B is spacious, clean and comfortable.  There is a bedroom, dining room, kitchen and terrace.  It is situated in the most beautiful garden and is quiet and private.  Each morning Nicola and her husband Guy prepare breakfast, which is invariably very nice.  They have a very friendly and affectionate dog.

It is a peaceful place to stay after the bustle of Marseille.  It is easily reached by the metro, and then No. 37 bus and a short walk through narrow country lanes.

Nicola and Guy were very kind hosts.  A beautiful place to stay.  HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Serene paradise in Marseille

We stayed 2 nights here at this lovely guest house and couldn't have been more welcomed. Nicole invited us in straight away, despite us being several hours early, and showed us around a beautifully furnished guest house. She was armed with local knowledge and maps of Marseille which helped us get a proper picture of the city. The facilities were the best we had encountered on our little road trip around the South of France, and don't get me started on the breakfast which was freshly prepared, balanced and filled us up until early evening! I would recommend Le Close du Jas to anyone looking for a taste of local life and a bit of tranquility away from city life!

A wonderful vist

From the first correspondence, we could tell that Nicole was going to be a wonderful hostess.  We saw the pictures and read the great reviews and everything about this B&B exceeded our expectations. The room was very clean and was beautifully decorated with tea and cookies waiting for us. We arrived a little early but they had a delicious dinner ready for us prepared with ingredients from their garden and when we woke up the next morning, breakfast complete with homemade jams, fresh fruit, and toasted baguette were all set out overlooking the tranquil garden, the city, and the Mediterranean.  It was the most pleasant experience ever. As a special bonus, my husband and I were able to just go a few steps up the hill and wandered upon a huge nature preserve complete with trails and native wild flowers. I would recommend Le Clos du Jas again and again to everyone who wanted a little slice of heaven.
