How do I start... I was at the hotel for the rugby world cup and the room was expensive, very expensive because I didn't book it in advance but it was worth every euro. I've had a very warm welcoming at my check-in and every time at the restaurant. I was a bit worried about the fact that I don't speak French but everyone of the staff I've been in touch speak English, almost everyone. The hotel itself is not the hilton nor the four seasons(needs some work done) but it's wonderfully placed on the top of a hill where I could enjoy the sun rise and the sunset at an incredibly warm temperature for the season. The room was okay with a nice shower and the bed was confortable and I've had quiet nights. The ladies who did the rooms were very respectfull and the service was properly done 2 out of 3 nights because I've opted to not have service one of the nights and donate the money for a charity instead. The food at the restaurant was very very good and me and my friends had starter, main and dessert for less than 30 euros each. We've had meat, fish, salads and desserts. The food was very good and well seasoned. I felt at home. Thank you to Naomi,Sophie, Davy, Youmna, Andrea, Sonia and the other guy who was also there and suggested me a very good wine. The price of the room wasn't right but the experience was perfect. First time in France and in Marseille. I will definitely be coming back when it's summer. See you soon. You guys do an mazing job at this old but charming hotel. You guys are the reason I'm coming back.
