Enjoyed an excellent lunch overlooking the Dordogne River from the Hotel's balcony. The sliced duck (canard) was perfectly cooked with a subtle sauce and tasty pommes de terre. The desert was Creme Brûlée which did not disappoint neither did the apple with pastry which was light and melt in the mouth. The house wine (Bergerac) was good value. Service was first class and friendly and with good knowledge of English to explain the menu if not fluent in French. Beynac Castle is not to be missed and well worth the climb!
