Herbages de Beauvais

Lovely old farmhouse in a tranquil setting. Our bedroom was very large with an olde worlde appearance together with wood burning fireplace and a small table with chairs and lovely old furniture but the en-suite bathroom is very good and modern. Our room was on the ground floor with its own entrance which opened directly onto the garden.This place is in the middle of the Normandy countryside and so peaceful and has two bedrooms and a lovely pool in a converted barn. Outside there is a nice garden with sunloungers and a table and chairs for outside dining.Carole the proprietor made us a delicious pre-arranged meal which started in their own lounge with drinks and nibbles. We ate our evening meal with Carole and her husband and despite our poor french and the fact that her husband does not speak English, the evening flowed well and Carole was the perfect hostess.The food and wine were delicious. Breakfast was eaten outside and was very good. We hope that new signs are put up outside the property soon as when we arrived we drove off again due to lack of signage. However, we know where you are and will be back again when next in the area.
