Great location for ferry and restaurants. Good value and nice staff.

The window was in the bathroom but if we were open we were in full view of the buildings in the same courtyard and with the deafening noise of the external air conditioners it was impossible to sleep! air conditioner right above the bed, we had to turn that off too... well, it was a real nightmare, luckily we only stayed here one night!

We're not coming back.

When I arrive in Bastia by boat in the evening, I go down to the hotel. I had already been at the Hotel Napoleon, this year I booked two rooms for the 11/08 on 15/05 and canceled until 8/08. On 9/08 Corsica Ferry cancels my trip and forces me to postpone my trip to the Île Rousse, where I had to go the next day.

It's not commercial.

Very nice hotel a few meters from the shops bar and restaurant and the old harbour. Clean and air conditioned and well soundproofed room. Warm home and more than proper breakfast. I recommend it Ideal for 2,3 nights.

Correct

A good central hotel at a good price. The room is large and comfortable enough, for eating there are several places nearby and especially in St. Nicholas Square. The service is courteous, both from the receptionist and the night watchman, a friendly Italian from Rome. As for breakfast, you are served (paid separately, as is often the case in France) a full coffee from 6:40, so you have time if you have to take a boat between eight and nine hours, since the train station is only five minutes' walk away.

A good central hotel

We chose the Hotel Napoleon for our first visit to Corsica, Bastia is a fantastic city. The staff is very welcoming. The person at the reception gave us a lot of information about the tours and the routes to take.

First stay in Bastia

Very good location - port/train station/city centre within a few minutes walk. Very friendly and helpful staff. Hotel is located on the first floor of a historic building. Beautiful - obviously newly renovated - room. QR code in the room allows access to all important information. Generous breakfast delivered to the room on time as agreed.

Stopover in Bastia - Corse en train!

Good location a short walk from the terminus of the airport shuttle. When I arrived from the airport after midnight, my first impression was not favorable: no elevator, and 31 steps to get to the hotel lobby (which were very hard to negotiate with heavy luggage). Moreover, the hotel had already charged the room to my credit card, but the front desk employee demanded that I pay the city tax in cash and refused to give me a receipt.
The room was located immediately behind the front desk, but it turned out to be reasonably quiet. Clean room and bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows. Desk area with two power jacks. Amenities included a refrigerator. The AC worked well.
Good size bathroom with good shower. No toiletries other than hand/shower liquid soap.
Decent wifi.
Overall an ok choice, but the presence of 31 steps to get to the lobby is a major hurdle if you have heavy luggage.

Very welcoming and staffed, breakfast was delicious for the price and well served, positive: perfectly soundproofed rooms in the heart of the city.

Room for one night

A very smiling welcome, recommendations for parking (paid) an ideal location in the city centre. A clean renovated room not very big. A hotel to recommend except for the PMRs.
