What a treat! We went for the Sunday Roast and we were not disappointed. Amuse bouche in abundance, great fish starter and fab main course. It will be good to go back to the restaurant when the restrictions are lifted but for now AQS on wheels will do nicely thank-you!! Keep up the good work guys it is really appreciated.

Had a fabulous time with 13 friends for our 40th wedding anniversary.  Food was stunning and Val and Paul looked after us beautifully.  Only shame is that we can’t make New Years Eve - last year was amazing.

My husband and I were welcomed on arrival by Val and shown to our cosy table. The restaurant was beautifully appointed and the ambience, quite romantic!

We ordered aperitifs and whilst they were served, Paul, the chef/owner brought us delicious and quite substantial amuse-bouches. 

Our food choices were from the à la carte menu. I enjoyed the onion tart to start with and my husband, the melon and ham. Our main courses were Gambas cooked in Pastis and pork with mustard sauce. All truly delicious. 

For dessert I chose the Baba au Rhum, with complimentary glass of rum and my husband had what he described as ‘the best creme brûlée he had ever tasted’. 

The cost of our meal was very reasonable indeed and the customer service from Paul, Val and their team, excellent. Val offered to take photos of us as a souvenir and these have since been emailed to me. What a very special touch!

We thoroughly enjoyed my Birthday evening at Aux Quatre Saisons and we will certainly be returning.

The food was excellent and very good value. 5 courses for about 28 euros. Local cheeses and  local wines sourced. Entertaining explanation of the cheeses served with port - thanks to Paul , the chef. Will definitely go again.

I was taken to dinner here by a couple of friends whilst on a whistlestop tour of the region and was blown away.  The owners are very welcoming and friendly, the environment just right and the food was beautiful and extremely well priced at 5 courses including an expansive cheeseboard and port for under 30Euro.  When I come back to the area this is most definately one place I will revisit.

We were recommended here by a friend and warned to pre book, which we did.

And we were definitely not disappointed, the restaurant was like sitting in your own front room very relaxing and informal.

The food was outstanding, Paul was excellent explaining the all different types of cheeses and a great host.

It was definitely the highlight of my holiday and wished it was nearer so I could go once a week ! 
 Not to be missed if your staying in the area. 

We opted for the 28 euro menu which included chefs 'nibbles' a starter main course chesseboard and dessert. Each of the courses were delightful but the standouts were probably the main of baked cod with scallops and prawns in a cream sauce and the cheeseboard selection which usually has up to 21 chesses each individually explained by the patron chef (Paul) of the origins and passsions into the making of his 'sourced' cheese selection. The complimentary port with the cheeses was just another nice gesture to enhance the dining experience. It is well worth a visit, but being such an intimate restaurant (with only 20 covers) it is advisable to book in advance. You certainly won't be disappointed the food is excellent, the wine reasonably priced and the ambiance and service first class.

Enjoyed a beautiful meal here on a very, cold Wednesday evening. There were just the six of us in the warm restaurant and we were treated like royalty by Paul the chef and his lovely wife Val. Before the meal we were treated to several 'amuse bouches', all skillfullly prepared by Paul. The four course meal followed, flavoursome and beautifully presented. The cheese course was special, the history of each one recounted with gusto! All six of us were impressed with both the food and the great hospitality. We will be back .. on Valentine's Night. Bravo Paul & Val.

My husband and I are considered regular customers to this friendly and cosy restaurant of the chalet.  Love the food, the at-home atmosphere, Val & Paul’s humour and friendliness.  Ooh, you should see the cheese cart with 20+ selections, that come after 3 welcome appetisers, your own orders and before the ever delicious homemade desserts.  Crème Brûlée is still our favourite. Thanks Val & Paul.
