Due to the pandemic, the first booking attempts here could not be realized but when I finally managed the trip, it was a perfect dream come true. Starting with the personalized greeting that was hanging outside on the main entrance door when I arrived. Eryk, as all reviewers seem to agree, is a formidable host, friendly, helpful yet never intrusive or overwhelming. The Van Gogh room is perfectly furnished down to the smallest detail and this is not a don’t touch museum, here guests can open drawers, read the books, or just simply have a great night’s sleep in the very authentic and still very comfortable bed. Vincent would’ve loved to stay here on a repeat visit a century later.
