Camping L'Ecrin Nature

I stayed here for two nights in my motorhome on the way North. What a lovely location by a lake, Got the binoculars out and spotted a few lovely birds and a heron fishing for dinner! You could hear a pin drop! The owners were very welcoming and helpful. Some holiday chalets, tourer and tent pitches, Pitches are on grass but solid and reasonably level, wasn't a problem and no need for the 'chocks' The facilities are clean and well maintained. Lot's of information on walks in the local area and the lovely village of Ambazac is only 20 minutes walk away. Not many people here at this time of year. Would definitely come back and explore the area more.
