Residence Les Sanguinaires

We (family of three) only got to stay here for a night, but I found it well worth it! I am summarizing the pros and cons of our brief stay in this residence. I will definitely recommend it to folks (especially families) looking for a calm, apartment like environment during your holiday. Pros ------ (a) Spacious rooms, with a fully equipped kitchen (b) Very close to the beach - not crowded, having a lil restaurant, turquoise waters and pebble free. Quite friendly to the little one to spend time on her own (c) Free parking (although the safety of the vehicle is not the residence's responsibility) (d) Swimming pool (e) Not noisy (f) Front-desk assistance Cons ------- (a) Not exactly overlooking the beach (as the ads state) since we have to cross the road. And since we got the room at the ground floor, you dont exactly see the sea (b) Location would be a constraint for people not having their own vehicles. There is a bus service, but I am not sure of its frequency in the evening / night time. The hotel is probably 8-10 km outside the main city center. (c) Lack of nearby (walkable) options in case the hotel restaurant is closed (which was our case, and so we drove a little further down) (d) Lack of free internet in the rooms. And I suppose wireless didnt exist in the lobby as well. (But then if people are coming to get cut off from the virtual world, this is a blessing!) (e) Lack of English channels in the TV. Not sure if the cable TV was having it, as it didnt seem to work (but it was not worth complaining as I was only here for a night)
