Watch out especially don't rely on the internet photo it's flight 140 at night with pt dej and not even seen on the lake cleanliness beyond limit.. nobody to welcome the little dej..you have to deal with only positive point the hostess very friendly

Running away

This establishment has nothing poetic except its name and the view of the lake it offers. But at 125€ at night, without the snacks and given the hotel's ageing condition, it is quickly understood that the managers have put everything on the potential remuneration of the place. Apart from the random housekeeping, (shower taken with floor mats inside the bathtub in a bad state), the safety standards are completely nonexistent which poses a potential danger to its guests with a fixed and unwired electrical wires, despite frequent poor seizures and not proven to be of minimum comfort standards.

From stealing to cleanliness!

Reservation confirmed by email. The hotel cancelled the reservation at 5:30 pm while we were already on site, claiming a problem of sewerage. The problem is that the room was supposed to be released at 11 am, and ready for 4 pm... so what happened during the day? What solution was found? There are big overbooking doubts... I am offered a departure at 6:30 pm to the hotel at the Aix-les-bains train station (...) or at the mercury of... Chambéry!!! Incredible. I find a room (improbable on 15 July in the last minute, fire of Artemont in Aix...) in a more hospitable hotel. The hotel refuses to participate at any cost, the hotel manager does not take any response... they do not understand the luxury of the hotel, they do not have any personal responsibility in this establishment, they do not have any personal liability in the hotel, they do not have any liability in the hotel...

amateurism and dishonesty

The bathroom floor is just dirty, the electrical connection is apparent or even dangerous. The photos don't match the reality. It's fake advertising. I should have gone and asked for my immediate refund to pick something right for 126 euros.

I don't want to be unkind about this hotel because the location is absolutely stunning , good wifi and free parking and the staff were so lovely and helpful, but sadly it does have a lot of negatives. First impressions  of reception are dark and scruffy ,cluttered with hanging plants, personal staff items and a large paddle board, which is apparently for rent but it doesnt say so, it just looks dumped. Big drawback NO LIFT! Corridors are dingy and tired and the ornate staircase needs a good scrub. We were only staying one night but we opted for a lakeview room which was tiny with a 4'6" bed. Sheets were clean and we had a small balcony overlooking the lake which was a real plus but the balcony itself was desperate for a repaint and refurb. Everything  in the room felt cheap and chair cover was stained. The bathroom had been sort of half renovated leaving an awkward space with no door, white towels were new,  thick, clean and fluffy. The toilet was separate but if you sat down before shutting the door you would bang your head it was so small. 
Adjoining restaurant for dinner was great for meat eaters,  nice cold  buffet for starters but the not so warm buffet was a little less appealing . The staff were lovely though and anxious to please and helped me out with some difficult medical dietary requirements which was very kind and helpful.. Breakfast  the following morning was very  nice indeed if somewhat lacking in hot choices . This hotel has massive potential but needs bags of money and an interior designer thrown ar it.  Would I stay again, sadly not.

Beautiful location, not so beautiful  hotel

Regrettably managed, a reservation made directly in June via the hotel's website, two rooms, four people, reservation confirmed by email, 700km made to hear that they changed software, sorry your reservation was lost... and we're complete!

Disaster management!

Comfortable bed, personal clean room at the top although the hotel is complete we were very well received.

We were very disappointed by this hotel. In the previous answers, work is mentioned, not a single area of work during our visit... The electric sockets are very old, the bathroom is too small; it is difficult to turn in the shower which has no curtain and is clogged after use. The bunk is uncomfortable. The presence of cigarette butts on the balcony. Not enough electric sockets in the room (take only one side of the bed, the obligation to choose between the fan or the bathroom...) Very small TV. No flap but old TV curtains Ultra opaque detention, one would think in the 90s a neighborhood that seems to suffer from extreme demand, it does not pass at the same time because the door of the house must be closed.

We threw our money out the windows....

We had been planning a weekend with my kids for a while in this hotel, quiet place by the lake. The week before my mom died so unfortunately we wanted to unpack but there was an unforeseen incident. After we left the hotel manager took a charge on my bank card for a mattress that was allegedly dirty by my son's little dog knowing that on the mattress there was a protective seal.
