We tested the hotel's bar on the recommendation of a local. The decoration is typical of Lapland Finland, very beautiful and neat. The cocktails are delicious and the server very welcoming.

It's a great experience! A hotel where you smell great. Everything tastes good, the breakfasts are wonderful, the meals are authentic, with a family kitchen prepared for the pleasure of the guests. The upper rooms are perfect, clean and well furnished.

It was a fantastic experience.

We had an amazing time at this hotel! We had the chance to have a Suite (a bedroom, living room with cheminee, small kitchen without cooking plates, big bathroom with a shower and with a bath).
The stay was perfect, the buffets for the breakfast and the dinner were delicious! Every time there was some lappish specialties. The personal is also very friendly.
The bar was also great and the food and cocktails were delicious 😀.

We would recommend this place to anyone who likes quietness, you can go to Äkäslompolo directly on foot by the frozen lake (approx. 20mim on way). 

Prefect stay in Äkäslompolo! 

For our first stay in Lappland, we were looking for a comfortable place to enjoy the fairy-tale winter scenery and see the northern lights so right - without disturbing lights. We wished for accommodation with our own sauna, a comfortable accommodation, good food, peace, friendly hosts. We found everything in Ylläshumina. We decided - because of our own sauna - to get a holiday apartment. These are housed in beautiful double houses that stand at the beautiful premises. Small, but fine, the apartment at the end of the day offers very little space for two people (although there might be a few more casual beds). We have found everything in Ylläshumina. A Wonderful Stay in a Fairy Tale

Our stay at ‘Humina was fabulous cosy cabin with everything we needed for a week of superb cross country skiing. The hired equipment was great. The food from the hotel kitchen was absolutely superb with a huge variety. Staff were great so helpful and friendly.
We would recommend this as an excellent place to stay and enjoy Finland.

Fantastic

The complex with the different houses has a lot of charm, of course. It is close to the sea (in winter frozen and used as a loip). The restaurant is rather old and narrow, the tables are close to each other. The choice of buffets in the evening is not very large. Ala carte is in the new bistro. This is chic. The choice is similar but also more like the food in the restaurant. The standard rooms are really very small!! There is hardly room for the winter equipment. The two individual beds are narrow! You can share a living room with other rooms. Top is the offer of activities in the resort. The guides and the material is top. Weak is that the outdoor whirlpool is not open every day!! Why is unclear.

Great location, lots of charm but modest room

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel. The cottages with the rooms have a crazy charm. A special mention for our one who had a sauna. The bedding is good. The reception and the restaurant are great. We want to stay there for hours so much that we are cut off from the world and time. The dishes on offer whether it is A la carte or at the buffet are really good. The activities on offer are of high quality and very well accompanied. Thank you to Kenny for your joy of living and your kindness. A French guide in the middle of the top is really Lapland. A special mention also to the staff of the establishment who are smiling, a nice and ultra-great word. You are still there for the richness of this place! Thank you for always making our trip more magical!

Just to the top!

Ended up here when I thought I had booked their affiliate property, L7. Seems that they use the same reservation email address for both hotels and just assume you want to book this hotel without bothering to ask. Trying to sort this out with them was absolutely impossible, and customer service does not seem to be a concept they have any familiarity with.

Worst customer service experience

Outstanding hotel with excellent food, friendly staff and comfortable well planned chalets. Superb and reliable snow for Nordic skiing and lots of local activities including skidoo and dog sledding. Wonderful forests ... Narnia!

Brilliant snow holiday

The hotel complex is located just outside the village, which can be reached within 30 minutes by walking across the frozen lake. For one week we had an apartment with our own small sauna, the size of which is ideal for 2 adults. The dining (half board) was delicious and varied, especially local delicacies such as racing and lots of fish. The staff were extremely friendly. We had booked various events in advance through the travel agency, including several events with shopkeepers. Here the hotel/Q5 event can practice some more openness regarding complaints management. The tour was not entirely about the pace of the bi-household rather than a bi-household flight.
