Levi Lodge

We went to Levi for 3 nights. As all hotels were fully booked over a long weekend, we did choose Levi Lodge. It did sort out to be a very good option to a hotel. Few points you need to consider: It is an apartement. They do not accept credit cards. So even when you book trough booking.com as we did, you have to pay by bank. This is not a problem, if you have enough time. So be aware, doing your payment some days ahead. Further they do charge you for bedlinen and towels. As it's an apartement, you will not find any toileteries. It would be a good thing, if they leave you the most necessary. Apart from that you will feel very well kept. Once you made your booking, Juha, your host will get in touch with you by e-mail. All instructions are easy and clear. Once you arrive, they will easily find it. They will let you know, where the keys are. The apartments are nice, roomy and in excellent shape. We had a three piece one, with two bathrooms, one of them with sauna. The kitchen is fully equipped. Over the road is a supermarket with everything, you need to prepare a nice breakfast or more. If you come for skiing - as so many traveling to Levi do - the "Gondoli" Cablecar is a 10 minutes walk away. If you prefer, Levi taxis are very quickly there and affordable. Coming back from skiing, you can make it trough the forest and basically keep your skis on till you arrive at the Lodge Going out, you either walk to the village, which is 25 minutes, or you go by bus or taxi. Any option is good. All at a glance, Levi Lodge is definitely an option I would choose again. I felt very well and the location is good, as everything is close.
