Nice place to stay. Quiet and nice neighbourhood. No cooking pot in the apartment.

In the middle of night,we were left without keys for paid apartment in Helsinki.
Wehost company refused to help,as the tell me only ONE key fm apartment was in R-kiosk on train station,which closed at 22.00lt.
We have to rent hotel for one night after,wehost company refused to make any refund!!!
Awfull company.

Awfull stay in Helsinki due to Wehost company actions.

I made a reservation on early july for mid-september and they cancelled it the 26 of august because they wanted to triple the price. Since I was cancelled at the last moment, no other hotel rooms were available in Helsinki Center.

Be careful, they won't hesitate to cancell your reservation at the last moment

We stayed here for a few days whilst sightseeing & meeting friends, apartment is well equipped with the basics, BUT very very basic and so small.
It was nothing like the photos we had looked at.
Great location to shops etc.

We stayed here in 30c plus heat, there was NO air conditioning & Not even a fan.
The whole building was like a furnace absolutely boiling, to the point we had to keep getting in the shower to cool down it was hell. 

The towel rail in the bathroom was pumping out heat in which we told the receptionist at the office & was told it can’t be turned off as it heats the water for the whole building ( even though it’s summertime and we are having a heatwave )
We had to stay here and put up with the intense heat in this building.
Made our stay a complete nightmare.
Won’t be returning !!

Hot as hell 

We stayed at the Citykoti Downtown Apartment at Malminkatu. There were 3 of us and we had 2 studio rooms. 

The location was good and in walking distance of main attractions and the railway station (1km). The rooms were compact, clean and comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable. A washing machine was provided one of the rooms. Both rooms had windows so were were able to let fresh air in. We arrived after hours and we were able to follow the instructions to get the keys and find the rooms. A bit different but it was ok. The property seemed quite secure. There was no one there when we left but the instructions for dropping off the keys were also easy to follow. There was a supermarket in close proximity - around the corner.

As a family, we spent 7 days in Citykoti apartment at Malminkatu. The large family studio was well furnished and maintained as promised. However, the wifi did not work from the beginning and we were required to figure out on our own how to make it function for us. (We received no reply to our email from the Citykoti office). This might sound like a luxury problem, but you should not worry about these basic things these days when traveling.

Unfortunately, this smaller episode was just an announcement of what to come. On one day, we forgot our keys in the apartment, which is clearly our responsibility. This happened - shame on us - not during business hours of Citykoti. As a result, we were forced to spend a night at Radisson Blu hotel nearby, because neither the Citykoti website nor the office, nor the building we were staying in, provided an emergency number to contact in these cases. Trying to explain our situation to the Citykoti staff the following day resulted in rude behavior showing no compassion, but pointing out that it was our fault and our fault alone. They stated once more that the building would clearly state a number on the outside, which is simply false.

In terms of the apartment and the excellent location we have no complains, but beware that you will receive bad service in situations that require Citykoti staff's support.

Nice apartment/good location/Very poor Service 

The apartment itself was great, it contained (almost) everything we needed, it was very quiet and peaceful. 
The first problem we encountered was the change of address (which another reviewer mentioned as well) which was alarming because we specifically chose that area for a reason (I was attending a 4-day conference in that area). Luckily, the new address was just around the corner from the original address we chose. Even so, you shouldn't have to worry about things like that when you're travelling. 
We had requested a cot for our toddler which wasn't there when we arrived. They didn't answer their phone, so I sent a message and the bed was delivered within a couple of hours. Next, the baby cot was broken but we were too tired to deal with it, so our child slept in a wonky half-assembled cot for six days. Not the end of the world but not ideal either.
There were three of us but only two sets of towels. No towels for our child. We had to share two sets of towels for the whole week. When people stay for a week then it would be nice if there were more spare towels in general.
Sounds like we had many problems but we managed, and our overall impression was still positive.
