Just an average place nothing special the staff make it better, they are very friendly typical Fiji and people nothing is too much trouble they will go out of their way to look after you and try and make sure you are happy and fix up any shortfall In the hotel

Have stayed here for years on business.  Good rates great staff simple but large clean rooms.   Food use to be award winning but chef ran away.    Breakfast use to be simple but great hot breakfast with fresh fruit.  Now just cereal and toast.     Menu only five items for dinner.   Ok but ...    fortunately lots of good eateries in this area.

Could definitely use new mattress,   Maintenance, sliding door jammed, no mossy screen, low water pressure 

Still recommend for short stay or crash pad for business

Good price food nah

We stayed here in October and were delighted. Very close to the airport which was very convenient and no issues with noise as the hotel is opposite the mid point of the runway. Only 6 months old everything is new and clean. The hotel design is superb with beautiful public areas and well designed rooms. One restaurant and pool area adults only so no kids but the place was not busy in the week we stayed and there were always plenty of loungers. Really friendly and helpful staff. A great find we will be back.

A great hotel well designed and very friendly staff

Pretty much resumed on the title. Rundown and cheap and it's a pity for it has potencial for being much more even as a budget hotel. OK for a night but expensive if considering options like Fiji gateway hotel. Is good as is closer to the marina if you are taking the Flyer (our choice) to the yassawas but no more than that.  Breakfast (included) and dinner (not) were both good and the restaurante by the pool is nice.  Internet comes comes complimentary for 1 hour wich is nice and staff was also nice.
All in all was a little dissappointing even for a cheap hotel and We rea sorry not to recommend it unless they do some very much needed improvements.

Budget hotel but a little bit too much rundown. Ok for a night?

You need to take a bus to the beach or city centre, but the resort has pools and a good restaurant! The rooms are clean and the beds are cosy. The hotel is good for a stay after the Yasawa Islands, because it is close to the airport. 

Not the best location 

The resort itself is beautiful of course and the rooms and amenities show the newness of the establishment but the true pleasure of our vacation were the employees themselves. Everyone there treated us like friends and went out of their way to make our stay memorable.

A special mention is due to the woman who takes care of the front desk. Her name is Sereana and she made sure that we didn't make any mistakes as far as taxis are concerned. She booked a trip into town for us to experience the local food and from the connections to and from, to the establishment (Tu's Place) she made our night memorable. Thank you to all

The People Of Nadi Bay Resort

I spent two nights at Nadi Bay before heading to the Yasawas and had forgotten to book an early check in. The staff were friendly and accommodating and able to find a room when my flight got in quite early. The dining is good and bar is excellent.

Friendly service and a comfortable stop for those in transit

Thanks to Atu and the staff for an enjoyable stay.my partner and I had recently. Restaurant food  was of a high quality and reasonably priced. Always the Great Fijian smile anytime of the day. A return place that is for sure.

We stayed overnight at the Fiji Gateway Hotel at the start & end of our 2-week Fiji trip in early Jan (F$184). The Gateway is literally a 5-min walk from the airport, 100 m to the traffic light then across the highway and you are there. It was very convenient when leaving the country, but isolated from amenities & less convenient when outbound via Yasawa Flyer or float plane. 

The hotel was a 2-floor complex with some buildings around the main pool (there are two, including a lobby pool with hot tub) & others around inner courtyard gardens. There was an open lobby, an adjacent restaurant (good F$20 daily specials) with inside and outside seating, & a couple of small bars (cocktails F$22-30; beer F$8). 

Our standard room (ground floor facing the back lawn) was large, with a queen bed, a double bed in an adjacent area separated by a partial wall (would be convenient for 2 couples on an overnight stay), a small “kitchen” area with mini-fridge (only 1 water bottle/day) & counter, and a covered patio (2nd floor rooms had a small deck). The furnishings were comfortable, there was a large clothes closet, and the bathroom was spacious with a nice shower. 

The grounds had a large pool with a surprisingly good water slide, tennis courts and exercise room (universal gym, treadmill, bike, & a water cooler to refill your water bottle). Free internet was was available in the lobby, or at a fee in your room. There were few amenities nearby: the airport for currency exchange or ATM's, an IGA grocery store 1.6 km to the left on the busy highway, and no other restaurants that we saw. The hotel also had a gift shop, but we found the same items at a cheaper price at the airport.

The Fiji Gateway Hotel is a reasonable option for an overnight stay, especially at the end of your trip, with only one caution. When we booked, the hotel was aware of our early arrival (they specifically asked), so we assumed that they had a complimentary or low cost early check-in. Not – they attempted to charge 2 nights for our 1 night stay. So, either clarify before hand or be prepared to negotiate a much lower rate they way we did.

Comfortable Airport Hotel

We stayed here for 8 nights and went to Mana island for 2. While we were away Parrot room #1 shower was not working so someone who is still unknown gave them OUR room key to use OUR bathroom as there were apparently no other free rooms available. We also asked for our room not to be cleaned on more then three different occasions and it was done every time! This is unacceptable as you DO NOT give a room key to ANYONE who is not staying nor paying for the room. When confronting the manager he did not want anything to do with us. Every time he said he would meet us he was conveniently on lunch. The second we mentioned trip advisor he gave us $200 FJD to keep is quiet I'm guessing. I am not happy as all we wanted is a refund for the accommodation and this is no where near what was stolen or what we paid for the room. We have filed a police report before leaving and followed this incident up with Wotif. Currently waiting on a call back after they contact the manager. It has been over a week now and he is still conveniently on lunch! Nothing but incompetency within this hotel! This hotel also has shared bathroom facilities use your brains!!! The lady who runs the bar is also very rude when you ask her for a drink because she has to get up. She also picked ants out of my orange juice before giving it to me.
