All Staff were fantastic, helpful, friendly and fun, nightly singing by all staff was great with amazing voices . Beautiful Island setting, so peaceful and relaxing. Bure private, stunning view, great shower too. Our stay was soul refreshing. My facial by Adi was amazing.  Would love to go back again not only to cruise and relax but to see the Staff some of who became good friends. Best holiday as a couple looking to relax. We had an incredible stay at the Serenity Island Resort!!! The best part was the AMAZING staff!! Always a big smile and often we would be greeted by name! They would even sing for every boat load of people who arrived and departed. Plus we got to enjoy 2 evenings of the traditional dances and singing by the entire staff of the island!!! It was a highlight!! ALL of the staff was wonderful but some made an extra effort. Tua was a young lad and so happy to greet us by name every time. Sammy is fabulous too, coordinates everything and calls every person by name and makes every person feel special. Our server Vilisa was lovely and also Sereana. We even saw one of the staff carrying around a guests baby so the parents could eat in peace! Honestly every single staff was 100%!!!! Beautiful Fijian people. ❤️

It was just our kind of place!!! Not fancy and don’t expect everything to be perfect. It’s an older resort so it’s not like some resorts you pay a fortune for. If you’re looking for that, book somewhere else. It’s a relaxed, no hurry kind of island. We loved the vibe of an older place, bures were awesome, clean and so lovely. We extended our stay for 2 nights and got upgraded to a beachfront bure!!!! Stunning!! Was on my bucket list to do that and it didn’t disappoint. We would walk around the island on the sand in 30 mins and also on a path in the heat of the day where it was cooler. 

We hope to return with friends next time!!!!

Stunning Island with AMAZING staff!!!

Our Serenity Island experience was just right.
With plenty of space to wander freely on the beach or island tracks you may not see anybody for some time.
Lots of colourful fish greet those with no previous snokeling experience and if sitting on your deck reading is your thing the water is very close.
Staff engagment and friendliness was excellent.
When the resort was new the finish was to a high standard but over time this standard is not always maintanained.
We stayed four nights in a clean beach front bure with the breakfast only option and purchased dinner seperatly, which was about right for us.
Recommend for couples or families with young children as its a bit lacking in activities for teenagers.



Refreshing break

My second time to Fiji. Perfect location and very friendly staff, especially Solo, Sammy, Solo from the bar. You always gets a warm welcome and caring everyday. I stayed 4 nights there and had a great time on the island, quiet, serenity, and surround by natural environment. Snorkeling and swimming on your doorstep, any time on the day.  The room is clean when I checked in (island standard clean), I don't have much expectation if it's like a 5-stars clean room as we all know, it's on the island, and surround by nature, it's normal to see ants and other critter.

Food needs to improve, as it's always warm, or cold, not in the right temperature, especially dinner time. It seems short of staff working in the kitchen and not being able to deliver food in a proper time, my two friends waits for 1.5hrs for her dinner, during the night with heaps of checked in guests, Sammy also had to ran into kitchen to help with the food to deliver on guest's table. 

A bad moment starts when I went out for diving, I lost some of my cash in the room after came back, and lost some oversea currency too (as i have had them for ages in the same place) I didn't prepare much cash as i use card most of time, only have the exact cash prepared for  transportation transfer. I did told the Manager about this as to be alert, and got sorted for the last transfer to the mainland. Like the Fiji time but also like they takes it on time for boat boarding on our way back to the airport.

Met some new friend from Sydney and NZ too. I spent 5 days in this island reading, snorkeling, swimming, taking naps, and just enjoy the peaceful moment on the island! 


Great location, friendly staff, beautiful ocean to swim and snorkeling

We loved our stay on Serenity Island. The name says it all. Once you step off the boat your a greeted by the staff like Sammy and Nemo playing the guitar and after a welcome drink you will be shown your bure/hut. From there its up to you what you do. We took advantage of the time out to catch up on reading either by the pool or in a hamock and activities like coconut husking, volleyball, island snorkeling, island hopping (be sure to visit Treasure Island), sand bar snorkelling. The meals are good. What stands out the most is how warm our hosts were. The singing by the staff each night is a highlight. 

Serenity Island is a peaceful place to rest and adventure

Overall, a really nice stay. The beach bure was great! Bed is on the firm side but the bure was clean and the air con was appreciated! Beautiful view and lovely water to swim, snorkel in. Was a little slippery and rocky to start - would recommend aqua socks. Wifi works great in the common areas but did not connect at all properly in our bure. Don’t rely on it in your room - download some stuff before you arrive on the island. Fiji time is definitely a thing here - be patient and just lean into it. Take snacks to eat if you tend to get hangry or don’t wait to order food until you’re at your hungriest. Food was overall ok. Depends on your tastes - breakfast had good selection each morning and we got enough variety for the three days we were there but if you stayed longer, you could get a bit bored. Meals are executed well enough but lacked flavour, seasoning on occasion. Snapper dish for dinner was the best thing I had and the pancakes for breakfast were yummy! Staff are super friendly and make the stay welcoming and fun. The hammock was a bit worse for wear at our bure which was a shame. I sat in it only a couple times but it wasn’t the most relaxing worrying I might fall through. I sent a message to have it looked at but no one came. Assumedly, they’re still catching up from Covid and there are a couple of things that need attention - snorkel gear was hit & miss when we picked it up (afternoons may have not been the best time - get in early or bring your own). The fish feeding each day is cool! There’s only a couple of paddle boards and kayaks so you do have to wait if you want it but given they are free, take it for what it is. The “all inclusive” is misleading in that it’s not lunch or drinks - do your research! We knew this going in but I can see how some may overlook this detail and end up a bit shocked at checkout. Knowing what we know now, we would visit Serenity again but better prepared and recommend it with these tips. 

Beautiful island with beautiful people - needs a little more TLC

My wife and I needed a relaxing break and Serenity Island exceeded our expectations. It really was a dream location, All the staff were so happy and helpful especially Lucy who made our first encounter with Fiji special and very memorable. A truly enjoyable holiday

Serenity Heaven

We stayed in the beach bure and the accomodation was perfect; looking out across the water we had our own slice of paradise. The island itself is very nice with there always being somewhere to lay in privacy protected from the wind to enjoy the sun. The snorkelling off the island was surreal with a very active coral reef surrounding the whole island. The island is small enough to walk around in 20minutes. 

Sammy really brought the energy to our holiday and made sure we always had a great time, such a friendly person. All staff are very welcoming and make the stay a very enjoyable experience. 

The food was good but a little pricey for the quality but I guess that’s what you get on an island. 

A serene experience

We stayed on serenity island for 5 nights all inclusive… absolutely would recommend it.

We sat in the jetty for 1.5 hrs because the boat was broken that was meant to take us to the island on and then we were like actually were not gonna go because its a half day trip and by the time we get there half of that will be up and they pretty much wouldnt let us off the boat and said we will compensate you on the island and when we got to to the island they gave us a free cocktail that they had chosen for us so it was a blue lagoon. So not ideal and then wouldnt compensate us anymore and the boat we came home on was a tiny little tinny boat that took 1 hr to get back. The lunch that was included in the price was terrible and ther service was poor. They said we would be able to feed the turtles and the fish- there was only 1 turtle and we weren't allowed anywhere near him and there were no fish to feed.
