The owner charge us with additional fee, even if there was not extraordinary car as results from the contract. 
What is more the fee was taken half month after rental and the owner has no evidence that we soiled the car.

Be careful on this.

Car cental

The room was clean but very small. View from my room was amazing.  Shared facilities were clean, too. Wifi was free, fast and reliable.  
Breakfast was very meager (2 slices of toast, some cheese and salami, 1 egg, some grapes) prepared the day before for each guest and stored in the fridge. Wasn't really enough for me - especially if I had a day full of hiking ahead of me. 
All this would have been okay if the room hadn't cost about 1000 DKK/night.

Totally overpriced

I visited the Faroe with my 12-year-old granddaughter in July 2018. George meet us at the airport as we had requested, and took us to his B&B where we picked up our rented automobile. Renting a car from the B&B is very convenient since you can make all your rental arrangement by email beforehand with Polina. Our car, a small Fiat was clean and economical on "benzin" also known as regular gas as I found out. Polina being of Faroese origin was very helpful in advising us about sightseeing and shopping, I found Polina to be very disciplined about running her B&B, there are no surprises, it is very clean, the breakfasts are self-served and clearly identified, there are lots of reading material and even and iPad freely available for your use. By the way internet speed as I measured it was 85 Mbps which was amazing to me since we are in the middle of the North Atlantic. Overall we were very pleased to have stayed with George and Polina. My wife had made all the arrangements for our stay by email from Canada and everything went according to plan. Thank you George and Polina, my granddaughter will remember you and the Faroe for the rest of her life.

We worried that this B&B was a bit far from everything but it turns out that the location is excellent.  Located on the island of Vagar it is not more distant from most places in the Faeroes than the capital, Thorshavn, which is a 30 minute drive away.  The hosts, George and Pauline, are very discreet and leave guests alone, though they are always on call.  The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and all have beautiful views of the bay and the pretty town of Sandvagur.

Perfect base for the Faeroes

We stayed here on our first and last nights in the Faroes and rented a 4WD car from the hosts for our little road-trip. Friendly hosts who provide information about the islands, and arrange pick-up and drop-off at the airport (for a charge!). Room was nice, with a deck outside overlooking the town and sea beyond. Shared shower room fine, with separate additional loo. Breakfast included a decent selection of nuts and cereals as well as cheese and ham for each customer. Bread disappointing (had amazing bread in all other places!), and no milk on first night, but otherwise fine. Very close to the trailhead for the hike to the lake overlooking the sea (Sorvagsvatn/Leitsivatn) and not far from airport, Sorvagur (for ferry to Mykines) and Gasadalur (cool waterfall over cliffside). Midvagur is the next town with two supermarkets, two banks and a couple of food options (most people go to Cafe Smidjan for the pizzas). They took credit cards on our visit.

George and Pauline live on the lower level of the building and were very nice hosts for our stay, greeted us warmly upon arrival (a short drive from the airport), showed us the guest entrance in the back and oriented us a bit about Faroese landmarks on a map. You'll understand why you swap your shoes for slippers in the mudroom before entering the building as soon as you start hiking in the Faroes. The rooms were comfortable and clean, decorated with lovely art pieces, although the shower and main bathroom is shared with the other guests. Bar soap and shampoo were available, but here would be a good time to use your own if you prefer. Wifi strength was great. While there were other guests staying here at the same time that we did, we did not cross paths with them during our stay due to the timing of our itineraries. Pauline prepares a very nice breakfast with your name on it in the fridge ready for you in the morning, on par with several other places we later stayed during our stay in the Faroes (bread, cheese, meats, hard boiled egg, fruit, veg, yogurt, granola, juice, milk, etc.). We stopped by the grocery store FK on the way over to pick up lunch to pack for our hike the next day, which we were able to store in the fridge (although no cooking in the kitchen is allowed). We also took out cash from the airport ATM to pay for the room, as they do not currently accept credit card. We enjoyed our morning coffee with a beautiful view of the village from the living room and kitchen windows. Would highly recommend!
