We were part of a tour group. On arrival we were told there was no water. 
Our room was so small we couldn’t fit two suitcases in and had to climb over the bed to get to the window. The sink plug didn’t work. 
We asked to change rooms. This was slightly larger but the door had been broken and so we had to use a key instead of a key card. The shower attachment was broken. The sink plug still didn’t work, but others in our group had no sink plugs at all. 
The water came on two hours later but there was no hot water. 
Hairdryers didn’t work, there was one channel on the TV, Wi-Fi was terrible, the sockets sparked every time we put a plug in, the lights were awful, no bedside lamps only a dingy light over the bed which you had to get out of bed to turn off, the duvets hardly covered the bed. 
Couples were given small twin bedded rooms, singles were given larger rooms with double beds. 
There was NO HOT WATER for the THREE NIGHTS we stayed here. 
The rooms didn’t get cleaned. 
There was NO APOLOGY from the management and NO GESTURE OF GOODWILL. In fact, they weren’t in the least bit apologetic. 
Oh and there was a swimming pool - but it was out of action. 
The only redeeming feature was a passable breakfast and the location. This hotel should be closed down and completely refurbished. Totally unacceptable. 

Avoid!

While Ohrid is an amazing town, this hotel was disappointing. The rooms were dated and cleanliness was suspect. The location is on the promenade about a 10 minute walk from the town center on a main street with hotels and restaurants, so it is convenient. Music is loudly played at nights but be aware that the music lasts later on Friday and Saturday nights, so a good night sleep is not possible for anyone in the rooms over the hotel restaurant.

Dated Hotel, Needs Some Attention

Food was Ok and the location was close to see Ohrid 
Room hygiene was bad and sheets were dirty in the wardrobe

We could not take our meals to outside caffe area of hotel and last day  a lady was rudely warned not to take leftovers of herself to the tour bus 

It’s in our culture not to waste food so we tried to consume every inch of food and take them with us but staff in restaurant was rude and noisy

Rude to people

My family stopped in for an early dinner at around 4:00. The place was empty! We order then waited awhile for the food to arrive. My youngest daughter’s butter pasta came out last.  After we ate, the waiter didn’t bring a check until we all got up and put our coats on. It was a nice restaurant with a nice view. 

We stayed in this hotel with a travel tour for two days. Ohrid was wonderful but the hotel was very old. Location was good. The breakfast and the dinner were okay. The staff was kindly. But the room was not clean enough. There was a moldy soap in the bathroom. We felt like in the ‘90s.

Ok place to stay if all you need is a bed. Bathroom had overly complicated shower system (which didnt work), needed a good scrubbing as well. There was no cleaning of room during my 3 night stay. Maid only threw blankets on bed (not even properly smoothed out), towels not taken etc...the wifi was beyond horrible.... had a very difficult time linking it to my iphone and then signal was so bad I could only use it lobby. Ridiculous in this day and age. Breakfast was just passable with stale breads and not much variety. Coffee barely drinkable and the orange juice was just crappy Tang. Hotel is close to lake but that is the only plus. Many other places to stay. Really only a 2 star. Needs renos and some upkeep.

Needs TLC

We would like to have traditionel  breakfast this morning. But we could not find easily, so we had to chose here. It has a nice location. And breakfast was buffet. There were plenty of delecious foods. Service employeers were very quick and nice people, they were very interested with us. Price was 5 euro/ per person. This was good according to the other places.

Friendly waiters, rich menu, but awful cuisine. We ordered:
- seafood spaghetti - done with ketchup, tasteless, no garlic, no spices, closed mussels, old shrimps. All to salted!
- beefsteak Millenium the specialty of the restaurant- the waiter omitted to ask how to be cooked, so was completely blue but very salted. The French fries were not well done, but, guess what? Yes, very salted.
- imperial pork mignon - unbeatable because of..., SALT! 



Restaurant - avoid 

We had a family pizzameal. Big restaurant. Great staff, the pizza was good. Little bit to much blue cheese was added om the pizza, but that is individual, what you like. They didnt put our daughters icecream on the bill. Good experience, and would go back. 

We had a family dinner, we started with fresh salads,than we ordered pizza for the children,and we also had fresh fish.Delicious food, the staff is polite. Nice hotel, pleasant atmosphere, live music. Recomended.The center of Ohrid is close, just 10 min. walk.
