The host was super friendly and helpful. The accommodation itself is very very basic, don't expect anything luxurious. The bed was ok, the room was clean, a bit cold because the weather was cold and there is no heating. The location is pretty good, about 1 km from the old town. There is a kitchen where you can cook food. If you just want a basic and cheap accommodation just to sleep, then this is a good option. 

There was some noise from the construction work next door in June 2018, but not too annoying. 

There is a small garden and i believe that would have been very nice if it had been a better weather.

stayed here a couple of years ago, for about 3 or 4 nights. travelled with friends, we arrived around 9am, but the rooms were already waiting for us - which was great, as we had been driving all night. apreciated the safe car park infront of the house.

we had a double and a triple room, both with private bathrooms, small kitchens with all you could possibly ask for, and even TVs. we ate breakfast on the lawn infront the house everyday, and the hosts even made us coffee! as I've said, they're great :D

there is a supermarket nearby, the lake is just a minute away and the old town centre is about 5 minutes away. basically, you are near all the action, but you can still enjoy your peace and quiet.

I stayed here for 1may holiday with six of my friend. it was a nice place and staff were friendy and very heplful. this place ise near lake, just 5 min walking and has a big barbeque in the garden were we cooked meat. i wolud recomand this place

Nice place

I stayed here with my girlfriend last summer for about a week. I can heartily recommend staying here if you want to visit beautiful Ohrid!

The prices are very affordable, but the service is also great. Everything is clean and the owners go to great lenghts to help you. The neighbourhood feels nice and safe, and is not too far (about 10 min. walk by the lakeside) from the historical city center. I definitely felt at home during my stay.

I can also recommend to pay a little bit extra for breakfast. We got a lot of (good!) food each morning (maybe even too much!) and we got to know traditional Macedonian foodstuffs. 

All in all, our stay was perfect and not too expensive.

Budget and great service!

Stayed a couple of nights here with friends a few years ago, it was fine as far as it goes. 
However, we had to leave early to catch a bus, and accidentally left without paying the balance (had thought it had all been paid for in advance). The owner then proceeded to send a series of threatening texts and calls, claiming he had called the police and was going to track us down! It would have perhaps been easier (and more polite) to assume that it had been an honest mistake (and obviously we paid the balance straightaway). He has since - somewhat bizarrely - tried to add me on LinkedIn. 
Maybe you could give the place the benefit of the doubt based on the other positive reviews, but for me I would be a bit reticent about staying here.
