The Staff is nice and all the rooms were good furnished. We were satisfied with the conditions . The position is not so good. The food was very good. I can recommend this hotel for those who want to be in the city center .

Been there for 2 nights. The hotel is old, located near the center of the city. We had dinner and breakfast included. Food was terrible - cold, old and disgusting. Room was bad too but the worst was the bathroom. When you take a shower you flood the whole room. Staff isn't polite and no one speaks English. I regret that I didn't took any pictures of the rooms/hotel/food so you could completely understand what I`m talking about .
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone visiting Ohrid.

Very bad hotel

I have just come back from Ohrid, Macedonia where I've stayed in Montenegrin Hotel in Ohrid for a week with the rest of the scouts group. The purpose of our visit was to participate in the Independence of Macedonia Celebration/ Festival. The trip was magnificent but the hotel was a huge disappointment!!! Let's begin with the location of the hotel: it is located in a central area where you can have access to a lot of facilities. However, other than that, the hotel let me down completely. Since we are a group, we had an all-inclusive reservation back from Israel - a total regret! Food was served cold, no drinks and when asked for some, they only offered water. Food that was not eaten on lunch, was re-heated and served for dinner - a true misery! We had started eating out and asked for a refund, but they refused to give any. Beds are not comfortable at all; mattresses are bent and cause lots of backache. Bedclothes haven’t been changed for the whole week we stayed in despite begging for clean ones. My room, specifically, had 4 beds and they only gave 2 bath towels and we had to share - a true humiliation!!! Ac remote controls, were taken away on the 2nd day, and when we asked for them, they wanted to charge us Euro 5 a day - a true manipulation! Cleanness was a misery! Our hairfalls were left on the floor for the whole week, garbage was taken away though!!! On checkout day, a woman in charge came knocking on our doors at 10:00 a.m. asking us to 'evacuate' the rooms - 2 hours in advance!  I just ran out of words. I can’t really express my disappointment from the hotel. I didn’t expect much from a 3-star hotel, but I did expect to be able to use the AC, to have hot meals, to get my room cleaned at least once or twice, and to be treated respectfully! I wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all.
